Looking for Raspberry Pi to use with Emu-2 device just ordered and I think this is the cheapest.
I used to order Raspberry Pi 3 from them in 2017 and I remember I received the item after 2 days.

Never heard of this. The only issue I know of is the USB C charging problem which only affected some owners.
Also price wise - I guess this is only the cheapest if you have a no foreign transaction fee card?
yes. i tried looking briefly and only found USB C charging issues with certain boards.
there was a redit post that mentioned they had issue with wifi and bluetooth but it turned out they had a faulty unit.
The "Model B" is the revision that fixed the USB C issue.
Never heard of or experienced any issues with my current 4GB Model B. @ 6 Months uptime, nice little machines.
the usb c was more how some PD chargers saw the PI and not providing power ….dumb chargers worked fine e.g micro usb with adapter , though most people would want to use a phone charger which is PD.
if the 8GB has the resistor fitted so that a normal usb c charger can be used, i’d pay the extra and go 8GB.
did they update board for 4GB also ?
@garage sale: All boards were updated in early 2020
No the board revision was quietly slipped in. The only way to identify it is by comparing the part layouts. In any case it doesn't affect everyone as mentioned elsewhere.
No transaction fee for me with Amex through PayPal.
Is this really any sort of bargain? The base price of the 4GiB Pi 4 is $US55. So this is just the normal price plus $US8 for shipping. Not sure that's really a bargain. (It's also crap of arrow to say $US62.99 + free shipping - shipping is not free if you just inflate the price of the goods).
e.g. https://www.pishop.us/product/raspberry-pi-4-model-b-4gb/ is this same thing from the PiShop (they don't ship internationally, but it shows you the standard pricing of $35/$55/$75 for the 2/4/8 GiB models).
Depending on whether you get charged a foreign transaction fee (and how much) it's still cheaper than anywhere I can find (local or shipped to Aust). Quoting the pishop price is academic as you can't get that price.
Rather get the ODroid hc4
Need to then buy micro hdmi cables and charger etc.
I'm looking to buy but it's better to get the 8GB version instead because it seems 4GB versions has issues?

Anyone who knows more about this?
