  • Thanks, grabbed one. Good to have a spare for when one of my kids loses their Thermos now the colder weather is approaching.

    • Same. My kid lost the screw in lid last year…. good to have a couple on hand for winter school lunches

      • Is there any plastic part that potentially, come in contact or falls into the food after a long period of use ? I cant really tell based on the pic.

        • +1

The contents can touch the plastic lid if the container is not kept upright.

for when one of my kids loses their Thermos now the colder weather is approaching.

Is it a regular occurrence during cold weather?

      • +1

Odds on it would be a higher probability, given that in warmer weather it would be in a cupboard more often than not?

        • -6

it would be in a cupboard more often than not?

Link suggests it keeps contents cold for up to 14 hours

  • Thanks got one. Good to bring to city for day trips with the little ones.

    • -2

Do you use a different one for day trips to the country?

      • +5

Today must be a down day huh?

        • -7

  • This is excellent for bringing warm food to day hikes. Just grabbed one.

Would it take up a lot of space in your pack? I'm curious as I'd like to look at taking warm food with me now that winter is approaching. Water bottles seem to take up a lot of space and weight already.

      • That obviously depends on how big your pack is. I have 30ltrs with hydration pack so I don't need to carry water bottles separately. I can easily fit this one and other snacks etc. Warm food is definitely feels like a treat when on a long hike on a cold day.

        • Ah, good point. I don't have built-in hydration so I need to carry water separately.

  • Thanks OP, bought the bigger one, $28.90 delivered.

  • Price now 27.00

    • no deal, with price rise.

  • Gone up in price :(
