      This particular one isn't eligible since its got a 3-year battery, but they do have a replacement program (for their trackers with 1-year non-replacable batteries)

  I'm not sure there is a commercially available replaceable battery that would fit in this kind of form factor. I have some Tile Mate and Tile Pros that have replaceable batteries but they are a lot thicker - this is designed to go inside a wallet.

    It’s possible of course but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a standard part. The original Tiles had a standard coin cell in a sealed case. Even if you cut them open and replaced it, they stop responding to the app after an arbitrary period.

      The original tiles are a lot thicker than these. I have the older model in my wallet and it's much thinner than a mate

        Looking at a teardown, it'd be difficult to make this one replaceable either way without compromising on size or durability. Just saying the company has a history.
