Seems like you'll get the basic plan for $5 first month after CB. Just cancel after first month.

But you can get it for $5 per month for a year through Telstra.

    • Maybe, you have to have been a Telstra Livepass user previously to get this offer, otherwise it's $15 per month.

I did have livepass before, but I did not get the $5 offer.

I got the $5 offer from a friends account, who has never used livepass and didn't want Kayo.

        • Hmm.. so anyone can accept the 5 dollar deal? I just signed up on this deal on the weekend. Good deal tbh. 60 bucks is acceptable. Don't think I'd want to pay more than that… price will prob go up next year…

Hmm.. so anyone can accept the 5 dollar deal?

Apparently… I know a few people it's worked for that never had livepass before.

        • Do you have a link for the $5 deal?

          • @isthisreallife22: You need to find someone who previously had an afl live pass which was free from telstra. Now live pass has been taken away and they are giving people 5 dolla kayo deal.. it's a good deal cause now you can watch it on 2 devices for basic.

            • @hippyhippy:

              No you don't.

Log out of your Telstra ID on your phone.
Uninstall Kayo / AFL Live from your phone if you have it.
            Turn off your wifi.
Click on the link in the link above.
When prompted to accept the offer, make sure you redeem it using your phone, and not your Telstra ID.
If it then continues to show the $5 offer, you can log into you Kayo account and accept it…
You can select to pay via your Telstra bill or a credit card.

The above steps didn't work for me on Boost (and i had AFL live with Boost before), but it has worked for other Boost accounts. It has also worked for numerous Telstra accounts who have never had AFL live before.

            • @jv: Unfortunately on all 3 of our telstra services, it's coming up $15/month at hub.telstra.com.au/kayo.html (which is where that deal link goes)

              • @isthisreallife22: Are you logged out of your Telstra ID and removed both apps?

Mine was showing $15 too, until i logged out of my Telstra ID, then it showed $5.

                • @jv: Yep - it's definitely logging in using the mobile number because in incognito mode when on 4G it automatically logs in and offers the $15 offer to the mobile number of that phone

  • Anyone got any long term solutions?
Not the Telstra deal as I'm not with them….

    • For now you can get it for $200 for a year through Plus Rewards.

I take it you can sign up for the $1/28 days for Plus, redeem the Kayo offer, then cancel Plus subscription straight away.

I'm sure there'll be something else in a year's time, plus there's usually discounted gift cards which help :)

3 months free with a (free) Sportsbet account. Not much else around.

      https://help.kayosports.com.au/s/article/Sportsbet-3-months-…

      • I havent managed to get access to the sportsbet deal… any tips?

      • Seems it is targeted now and some have 6 month free. Previously you could avail this offer by creating a new sportsbet account but not anymore. Unless you are aware on how you can get it.

I do want Kayo for the F1 season, but $15 p/month is waaayy too much. Will try this cashback offer for first month then hopefully something else next time

    • I'm just quite curious as to what do you think would be a fair price for 2-3 races a month? thats 10-15 sessions… so $1-1.50 per session is too much for you to have a HD stream from the otherside of the planet .. live.. .?

      • FTA on channel 10 like most of the last 50 years?

Edit: I know it wasnt always on 10 :)
