doesn't seem to have any exclusions in the T&Cs so I would think its fine. Also Westpac won't be able to tell what we spent the $250 on.

How do you check what benefits are available on your card again or are you perhaps notified via email?
Login to the wbc app, click on the cc and you should have rewards/offers tab. I think if you are targeted then it should show up on there
