Thanks op! Grabbed one. Was looking for a cheap sound bar, hope this one does the job!

    • Any feedback on what it’s like?

      • +1

It’s coming tomorrow. Will set up as soon as i can and provide some feedback here.

        • So, I got my unit delivered earlier today, delayed by the bad weather. I got it to replace my 7-8 year old blaupunkt from this deal
I am sad to say that I am not really impressed. After about my 5 mins of listening I found it to be too shrill for my liking. It’s packed back into the box and ready to go back to Costco
As you can tell from my previous one, I am no audio phile, but this one just didn’t fit the bill.

@doowyah: saw your comment about missing out and that the price has gone up. Happy to give it to you at the price I got if you are interested and are in Sydney. Else it is going back to Costco anyways.

          • @Dealking: How did you plug in it?

I found using the optical wasn't that great, but using headphone jack was much better

            • @Danstar: Oh - I just tried Bluetooth from my phone. It’s still with me and can give it a go with the aux cable and report back. Thanks for the suggestion @Danstar!

              • @Dealking: Bluetooth is pretty good for me too.

The bass is good and is loud enough to spread through the whole house

                • @Danstar: Oh - that’s definitely not the case for me. My bass is not good and the treble is too high making it sound very shrill. I tried on full volume in my 4x4 home theatre expecting to get blown away, but all I got was headache in under 5 mins with no real good effect. Same at lower volume.
I might have got a dud unit May be. ☹️

                  • @Dealking: Did you press the equaliser buttons? There’s 3 settings from memory.

                    Movie. Sport. News.

                    News has no bass
                    Sport isn’t that great.

Movie is the only setting I leave it on

                    • @Danstar: Thanks ! Yes, tried all three modes and could see the difference but still not great. May be I am comparing it with my previous one - blaupunkt. Infact, I checked the wattage for my old one and it was just 100W v/s 320W on this one, but this one just seems too far away from the old one. Also my old one along with preset modes also let me set some bass and treble options, which I feel are missing on this one.
I will probably keep looking until I find some other options 😊, but this one is definitely going back.

                      • @Dealking: Hmm that doesn't sound right. It must be a faulty unit, because my one packs quite a punch and is pretty 'bass-y' and clear even at full volume

        Good quality

Hi Guys, just received this unit, very powerful and good quality.

    • Agreed, for $150 it's amazing value. Great collection of cables too which is was a nice surprise eg optical, HDMI, aux.

  • However price went up now to 189.99

    • Should’ve jumped on it and taken the risk. Thanks!

It's Costco, hardly a risk of you don't love it. Best return policy, even online.
