Gah, how did this resolution last for so long in Laptops while our phone screens were getting qHD resolutions?
yeah its disgusting. And it's far from snobbery to say so - like its visibly a bad res that is probably bad for your eyes.

We have these at work. They're terrible.
It's being sold for 399.99 and price suddenly increased to 444.44.
with all the critical comments & facts it's hard to see whats 'elite' in this elitebook :)
It's meant to be a competitor to the Dell latitude or Lenovo T series.
They're built like tanks and my one from 2016 is still humming away after being dropped hundreds of times.
The nice thing about these is durability and getting parts to fix them.
Saying that, the screen always let these down. Super dull (200nits) and absolutely shocking viewing angles meant the screen looked washed out except if straight on.
For the money, buy a Dell Latitude e7470
