Sounds pretty good. Seems to come with the older batteries. You can get something similar with the newer Procore batteries for a bit more:

Comparison video of ProCORE vs standard Bosch batteries here

  • Hmmm got the drill and 4a procore battery and drill deal from bunnings for $169 local store special instead of $199, do I want another mid range drill to just get old tech batteries blower and impact driver ?

I have bosch blues but see a ton of them brand new on ebay, fb selling new for throw away prices. I would not buy from a shop again

  • Not a bad deal with the blower or sander but I'd go with the newer batteries for that little bit more.

That said, I grabbed a set when the $230 deal came up a year ago (smaller impact and 3Ah batteries) and it's been great for around the house.

I'd caution against this drill, it was a nice upgrade from my 20yr old Makita, but the hammer function is pretty weak. Had mine less than a year and twice had problems with the chuck / hammer function. First time it was replaced with new, second time repaired. Even if you only want to put a single hole in cement, do yourself a favour and get a cheap SDS drill, the difference is amazing.

My other gripe with the drill was that it doesn't hold a 1mm bit like the old Makita.

Wasn't sure I needed the impact driver, but it has been great and I'll never look back.

    • Yeah you do get what you pay for. My Dewalt drill has a wobble and it just doesn’t have the same quality feel as more expensive units. It’s strong though.

This Bosch seems to be the cheap end unit.

      What’s SDS?

I've had both these in the non brushless for about 6 years and it's been the perfect combo for DIY and general home use. All works perfectly since day 1. Would love to upgrade to brushless but no real need since what I have is going so strong

Issues with the drill, better quality alternatives out there as others suggested.
