  If you're new to whisky, White Oak Tokinoka Blended whisky is a good one to start off with. It's very sweet and easy to drink with ice. Price is good at $62.40 if you do click and collect. Usually it's around $80ish

    I have little idea what I’m doing outside of liking most Armagnac/cognac I’ve ever had (short of cheap stuff), usually just drink Courvoisier VSOP.
    
    It’s a lot fruitier than whisky, not surprising being made of grapes, so maybe try something with vanilla or spice notes?
