Hendrick’s NEPTUNIA is based on Hendrick’s Gin with its signature foundation of rose and cucumber, but with an additional wave of flavour from an invigorating blend of sea kelp, coastal thyme and lime, which has that huge maritime story and history behind it.
And all three of those come together, layered above our original Hendrick’s Gin recipe, to create a gin that has depth and an earthiness, but also has that fresh, herbaceous feeling which comes from the coastal thyme and the lime itself.     Kelp flavoured gin? Sounds dodge - but for 50 bucks sure…for most gins usually all the flavour is lost in the mixers, I do enjoy gins and most spirits straight to enjoy the flavours.

      It doesnt taste like kelp, just has a bit of a maritime vibe (slightly salty undertones). Mostly it just tastes like hendricks.

      Dasher + Fisher from Tassie make an "Ocean Gin" that sounds very similar and it is excellent - quickly become a favourite for us. Pair with a light tonic and a piece of rosemary (citrus optional).
