Was looking to buy the LG BX 65 inch 4K Smart Self-Lit OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ and was doing a quick google search and was able to find the cheapest price for this tv online . Seems like a good price and deal from Appliances central for $3295.

Yes it would tick all the boxes.
Yep. Have this and was a huge improvement from the last TV - it was like we were playing different games. OLED, VRR.

Isn't the TV you've linked to the 65" BX? Not the CX
it is BX. CX model is still 3770. https://www.appliancecentral.com.au/tv-audio/televisions/ole…
Yes sorry, didn’t realise guys it’s is BX MODEL ..sorry just updated the description ..still seems like a good deal ..

Here is the comparison between The BX And CX SERIES.Somehow that ratings site is both too simplistic and too complicated simultaneously
Am waiting for 8K deals, is it worth waiting? Should I go with this model? Please suggest
Not sure why you were negged. Don't go 8k. you will need a huge tv to really notice the difference. We are also at least a few years away from having regular 8k content (and internet connections with enough bandwidth to stream 8k).
Already I have 50' Samsung 4K which is working great. Want to upgrade to 75'. @ifreddo.
If you want OLED in 75 inches then be prepared to pay a lot of money. Figure out what your budget is for a new 75" tv and then look at your options. All the best.
isn't 65 inch too small for 8k unless you plan to have it as a desk monitor, i.e less than 1 meter viewing distance?
I will go for 75' inches TV and my new Home living room is Big.
even at 75 I think you need to be closer than 1.4 meters according to this page, otherwise you cant see the extra pixels.

Hdmi 2.1 ports are at the back. it will be tricky to Wall mount.
Right angle plugs no problem.
Where can you get 2.1 right angle plugs?
Wouldn't it make more sense to stump up the extra $200-250 for a CX?
I've seen several here that were able to get the CX for around $3500-3600Am I missing something ? Aren't all OLEDS self lit ? Surely this is just marketing hype ?
Will this do justice to the Xbox Series X?
