Not if the mouse tracks better than the Cashback

      • nice one

I see what you did there…

  • How bad are these compared to a $50 one?

    • It's not a bad mouse. It fit its intended purpose of being a simple plug & play mouse.

    • +6

      It's Ok for the price.
But still the worst mouse I've ever tried. :)

      • +5

        Affordable e-waste :)

    • They're alright did basic use.

Expect the scroll wheel to fail after a a year and a half though.

    • +4

      Not comparable in the slightest.

This mouse is beyond uncomfortable to use compared to something like a logitech g402 etc.

      • -5

        G402 = $50. This one $5. Qed

You didn't even read the question lmao

So proud my work mouse has made the front page once again.
A good cheap mouse but very basic. Wish it had at least a back/forward button.

    • +3

Agreed! I've had to bring my own mouse to every place I've ever worked because everyone is too stingy to get a mouse with back/forward butons

  • +1

crap, i just bought the razer mouse. should i return it and get this instead?

    • +2

Depends what you use it for, it's fine for browsing the internet, but playing games or using photo/video/3d applications a mouse with higher dpi fees delivers more precise movements, I always had cheap ones, but I've been expensive ones lately and love smoothness and higher accuracy.

      • ok, thank you. i will keep my razer that i purchased.

  • +1

Thanks OP, bought this so my left hand has a mouse too

  • Me like.

Sometimes when rebuilding, or tinkering its good to have a general no-frills mouse that just works.

    • Exactly why for the longest time I had a PS/2 keyboard and mouse stashed in my Pile 'O Useful Bits, because even up to about 10 years ago there were still PCs that wouldn't recognise a USB device when you wanted to boot into BIOS. These days a cheap USB set will accomplish the same thing.

  • Bought one with shopback. Cost roughly the same as a bag of peanut.

  • Can't wait for the class action in 20 years when everyone blames their arthritis on these horrible dell peripherals businesses insist on using.

    • Some people question paying $100 for a brand name vertical mouse ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      • +1

Vertical mice a very en vogue where I work… As a gamer working all day in mouse-heavy programs at work it is a no brainer to have a decent gaming mouse with high precision and adjustable speeds. People are torturing themselves with shitty mice and ridiculous mousepads. Similar to the mattress discussion, we probably spend a significant amount of our life's using pc peripherals, have some dignity, get some quality gear!

Heh. I work with a company full of accountants. You should see the looks of horror they get when I tell them my mouse cost $100 and my keyboard cost $200. One of them tried to argue it was a complete waste of money and I was dumb for doing it - I countered by asking her she'd say the same thing to the next tradie she did a tax return for, when he told her he'd bought an expensive tool to use for his work.

          • @Chazzozz: Borrow (and not return) their Mont Blanc pen and offer them a Bic as a replacement…

            • @holdenmg: LOL - you've got it the wrong way around. You'd be hard-pressed the pry the Bic from their fingers, they'd protest that it's just not worth wasting money on a more expensive pen. (All while they're disgustedly throwing the leaky, skipping Bic onto the growing pile of other half-empty non-working pens on their desk.)

              • @Chazzozz: They would probably order Bic refills if they could. lol

          • @Chazzozz: Opps comment wrong one. [Update] hmm maybe not after all.

          • @Chazzozz: Is that similar to telling a car rental business they want to do exotic rentals? :)

      • $35.99 (-5% with current coupon) is a steal for this vertical mouse. I have one for work and home!

  • Love this mouse. Hella easy to clean too

    Best mouse for mspaint.exe

  • review: Very light. Does not glide super smooth along mousepad (mousepad is a bit rough but other mice are fine on it). The scroll wheel is absolutely delightful to use, so smooth. Definitely worth this price.
