Yeah, that's from AliExpress though. Personally, I'd buy from Amazon for piece of mind.

Both are fulfilled by reolink, AU stock.
It's like buying the same product from KMart vs David Jones… this is a bargain site.

        • Except if you end up having to deal with a return. Amazon = easy, direct with Reolink = I have no idea. From past experience though, I prefer to pay the little bit extra…

Yep, I've purchased a few based on feedback on OzBargain. Pretty happy with the results so far. I've got mine connected to my Synology NAS using the Surveillance Station software - great solution all up.

        • Cool, have you connected it to the Synology via wifi? Have you noticed any problems compared to a a hardwired PoE one?

        • Thanks, so where I want to place, there is no nearby power point. Any suggestions? Should i run power cable through the roof (color bond)

          • @mkh1991: Is PoE an option for you ? Edit -forget that . I just saw comments further down

            • @freesteakknives: lets say if this is an option (for another model) what you suggest? any suggestion is appreciated. Should I have power and POE adapter in roof and run ethernet cable to the designated spot and drill hole in ceiling?

        • Good to know re: Synology compatibility, thanks as I'll potentially do the same.

Are you able to give a rough idea on how long the cables are (doesn't seem to say on Amazon or Reolink's website) - looks to be a 3-way cable directly attached to the camera (power, reset and ethernet) and presumably it comes with a 12V power adaptor with a cable of its own?

  • Can this be converted to a POE camera by plugging in an ethernet cable?

    • Hi, I am afraid not. You may consider PoE camera RLC-410

  • Could you please do a deal on Reolink lumus?

    • The official website has 30% off now for Lumus

  • @dealbest per my reply to Singu1arity above, can you confirm the cable lengths on this please?

    • The cable length for the DC adapter of this WiFi camera is 1.2 meters (3.94 feet).

Check under "What's in the box". It comes with a 4.5 power cable extender.

      • Thanks for that - I'd scoured the page several times but missed that expandable section!

1.2m on the adapter and 4.5m extension is pretty generous, so I should be able to install in my preferred location

  • how far away can it detect motion?

Install blue iris and problem solved :)

  • Any deals soon on 4k or 5MP PoE cameras? Looking to fill my 8 port device.

  • Hi how good is the battery on these things? Also can it be solar powered?

    • This one need power cable. Connects via wifi. If you want solar look at the Argus Eco I think it comes with solar panel

  • I have both rlc 410 and rlc 410w have to say it’s pretty good. Connection is hardly lost, very reliable recordings. I set them both to record nonstop 24hrs. I use the iPhone app, works really well. You can even install PC client if you want it on desktop. On desktop you can save the recordings to your hdd. Recording playbacks on the iPhone app sometimes takes 10-15 seconds to load the previous night videos but it doesn’t take away from the user experience.

I’m actually looking around for Argus 3, anyone know good deals on this? Thanks

  • This one has a 15% off coupon, however it fails to apply at checkout? Reolink 5MP PoE RLC-520

  • Any offers on RLC-423-5MP? Thanks

    • RLC-423 is running 15% off 7-day deal this week.

  • Thanks, this integrated nicely with my dahua NVR via onvif.
