          Fridge/freezer design. Why, what are you talking about? Whether that fridge also has an expansion coil is irrelevant - cold air still falls and there's an efficiency gain in using that effect.

      I'm surprised no one mentioned this earlier.

      Who the hell still buys top-mount fridges anymore? Why on earth would you want to have to constantly bend over to reach the most-commonly used items in your fridge?

    I bought a Samsung Fridge and washing machine when I got married in 2011. I have never had an issue. I treat them with care. Cleaning the fridge each week and once a month pulling it out from where it sits to dust the area where the compressor is and blow out the dust. I also give my washing machine a clean with CLR or vinegar while empty about once a month. I do the same to the dishwasher and my air-conditioning unit.

    Basically I take care of my shit and don't treat it like animals. Oh yeah my wife also gives it to me every night. So maybe treat your property and your wives with respect

    Despite the mixed reviews I bought this fridge new on sale 4 years ago for $650 and it has operated flawlessly with no noise or drip issues. I have never run the freezer section as a freezer and instead used the dual zone setting.

    Would I buy another? Probably not, I feel I got lucky with mine.
    Having talked to a couple white good repairmen (for other things) they both told me that Samsung's fridges have a horrible reputation for reliability. One of them even said he won't even do call outs for them anymore as they are so cheaply made that they are almost impossible to open up and repairing them is rarely an option.

    No surprise to see all the negative comments on Samsung fridges, like washing machines. Burnt on each one we have had. Never again.

    Not sure why all the complaints. Got SR400LSTC, working fine since 2019 from good guys. If it makes to five years that's good enough for the price.

    I don't sleep near fridges therefore noise doesn't matter to me. If you want a quiet fridge you pay more for other brands.

    Hey guys, I'm trying to get a fridge that is no taller than 173cm and wider than 80cm. I've found the Haier 514L French door, but it seems that the internet thinks that they don't last particularly long. Any suggestions?
