I would get this phone for my mum, but when I tried her code (which is still valid) it triggers a message "Sorry, that code is not applicable with this purchase" :(
When I test the same code with a couple of other more expensive phones that are on sale, it successfully reduces by an additional $150 - but she doesn't need any of the higher tier stuff. The low budget A13 would've suited her nicely.
I got the same error with the A13 5G. My $150 targeted code expires 31/7 and when I tried it I got "Sorry, that code doesn't exist or is not applicable with this purchase". I haven't tried it on any other phones though. There was no mention in the other threads about problems with the targeted code so seems to be this phone only. I put the promo code in the page just previous the page to put in postal address in the order. Is that the right place? Or is is put in in the payment/credit card bit at very end as I didn't go that far.
I tested the promo code on the page where it asks to select (or transfer) a phone number. I didn't go through to the address/payment sections during my testing with the A13 and a couple of the other phones.
But that "not applicable" error only came up on the A13.. so that's my I was checking if djoz had successfully used their targeted code with this model, or maybe if it was just an innocent assumption that the code would work on every phone that amaysim is currently selling?

I just started a new $30 SIM plan the same day and it still wanted to charge me an immediate renewal for handset purchase. I cancelled order and tried another SIM on PAYG plan and it wanted me to upgrade to $30/month plan and it didn't seem to try use the PAYG balance to discount.
Some say PAYG balance can be used when upgrading to another plan, has anyone found the PAYG balance to discount a handset purchase?

that suxs, my $30 plan only renewed a few days ago so if i buy it today with the existing plan it will charge me another $30. i wonder if after the purchase you can call them up or do a live chat to ask for a $30 refund or credit it back to the account balance. has anyone try this>?

it shouldnt be network locked. the $150 discount code was only received by targeted users. my family received 2 but dont really need a new phone. was going to hold out hoping the G54 would drop again in price so i could buy it before the voucher expires on july 31st but not sure if that will happen.
ordered the a13 5g via cashrewards but it still hasnt tracked after 2 days. i know its not listed and is not the A13 4g but how long did cashrewards take to track? i have a few vouchers so should i try buying it again via shopback instead? im thinking about ordering the optus x pro next as it has nfc and its free just cost $30 for the sim plan. anyone have a Optus x pro 4g care to comment on it ie is it slow or does it have enough ram (3gb)and which brand of android os does it run? or am i better off paying $29 to purchase another samsung A13 5g phone?
received the a13 5g its exact model is SM-A136B . it only has 4gb ram but has setting called Ram Plus which is virtual ram but dont think it can be increased over 4gb as only two options are 2gb and 4gb?. even though it was released before the a13 4g seems slightly better other then the screen resolution. not sure if either will get the android 15 update? I dont think either have NFC do they? where can i buy a cheap phone case for the a13 5g ?
