  • How's the original YL?

(Totally disregarding price.. I'm not after value, I'm after good)

    • +1

Average (and this is coming from a massive fan of BK and BT). I got about half way through it. Now Yoku’s Island I would recommend 100%. Think Metroid meets Pinball.

      • Thanks.

I got yoku and find it unclear how the heck to get from a to b. Not loving it

        • Can't remember if the map is fully exposed on game start but if not: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/14641845277594336…

Might help a bit. Some areas will be closed off till you progress and you will open fast travel points as you go.

Otherwise maybe just look up a video of your current issue, as I don't really remember having navigation issues in the mid to end game and the game gets a lot more interesting with the pinball puzzles.

        • It’s a Metroid-vania, so you’ll find that you’ll get the most enjoyment from the ‘aha’ moment when you work out how to get from A-B.

    • Personally, I really enjoyed it (except for the arcade game bits, but they're only necessary if you're a completionist).
      As you'd expect, it's very Banjo-Kazooie-like.

  • Great games except for original YL

  • Excellent, i missed Yoku's Island Express last time it was on sale.

  • Yooka 2 is awesome

    • …but they will likely discount harder than this current switch deal based on their combos on other platforms.
