I think it holds around 1150 kg per wheel, can't find the exact rating now
No tyres?
Everyday price?
175 bucks per alloy wheel for a 4WD at this size and from supercheap is not an everyday price
Wheels or rims?
Alloy wheels
Wheel rims. And you will have to supply your own tires with enough thread
Wheels?
Yep
If only they didn't look so terrible.
Both wheels have the same specs of 17x9 +25 offset with stud pattern of 139.7 PCD. doesnt say the load rating but they would have to be ADR approved and especially on a 4wd they would need to be strong and at this price if they are strong they will be a heavy wheel and could affect your braking or handling characteristics compared to stock wheels.
Weight shouldn't be that much of a factor considering they are alloy and not steel. Lot of 4wds are running steel wheels with no problem.
Important to remember these are for 4WD owners who are most likely going to be sticking on All terrain or mud terrain tyres, this isn't marketed for owners of vehicles who only drive on bitumen.
Cheers
That is really cheap.
cheap. i wonder how good they are. set of tyres for these would be more expensive.
You get what you pay for I guess. I certainly don't want the wheels to fail doing 100kph on a motorway for whatever reason.
I don't think Supercheap auto would be selling wheels that are not ADR approved and can't do highway speeds mate, if they can handle off road conditions they can handle highways.
The incorrect fitment of wheels is what almost all failures point to, unless the wheel was already damaged.
You're much better off getting second hand ones. Wheels don't age, you'll find something better looking and you're recycling.
Hard to get second hand ones that hasn't been bashed around though. Can't see microfractures just from the surface of the wheel.
That's why you buy steel
No load rating?
