      You're missing
      1. 280 litres of bean filling

Yep. Drop a zero and get one from the supermarket https://www.kmart.com.au/product/teardrop-bean-bag---olive/3…

      • I don't really shop at Kmart, but I have been obsessed with using them to dunk on unfairly priced items lately.

        • Yep. I can’t find anywhere on the website where these beanbags in the deal are made so I’m assuming the extra cost isn’t because they’re manufactured in Australia.

        • Way to support small business. Good on you.

      • Quality is vastly different.

        • I have no need of a bean bag. If I did I’d probably try to find one that is made is made in Australia. My personal opinion. No need to be aggressive towards me. This is a forum for bargains so perhaps you need to consider your target audience.

          • @MrsJones: Wasn't intending to be aggressive. However, the comments in this entire thread are quite harsh. It's just really sad that people feel the need to batter - hard working Aussies, trying to support their family. Any how, you have a right to your opinion … as do I .

@Stace40: Look here. This is a forum for bargains. Not for advertising "hard working aussie family businesses". If you have a genuinely competitive product to sell then feel free to post and let the members decide. Otherwise, stop playing the victim card because you want free advertising.

why would i pay 150 to get a bean bag….

    • -3

Because they are incredibly good quality. They are gorgeous bean bags.

  • I'm always amazed at the cost of bean bags.

  • Terrible deal. And 115cm is hardly considered a "giant" bean bag.

  • Wow - way to go supporting local family businesses. We are very proud of our bean bags. They are exceptional quality. And if you look at other premium bean bag suppliers, our pricing is very very competitive. Sad to think this is how Australians treat small business. Every single time, negative comments.

Thank you all for taking the time to look.

Where are these bean bags made?

        Radio silence huh?

Must be working hard in the small family business internet mines to mine bandwidth before responding.

lol. Yeah they wont answer because despite their bleating, they dont actually make these beanbags themselves, they're simply reselling an off the shelf overseas made product at a ridiculous markup that anyone can buy direct from the manufacturer for a fraction of the price. You're not supporting an Australian business buying from this mob, you're supporting an individual (or possibly 2 people).

Have a look at this outfit, they make truly premium beanbags IN Australia (the same style as this post is $198 and you can customize colours), a MUCH better business to support IMO - https://www.blissbeanbags.com.au

@downbythecreek: Yeah I get the distinct impression its drop-shipped or reselling.

But even if it isn't, the material will almost certainly be Made in China, and the filling as well.

I really won't lose any sleep knowing that someone is sewing blob shaped bags in Australia and claiming like they did it all themselves.

Compare that to woodworking, metal products, electronics or grown/raised food…

          • @downbythecreek: We are not a drop shipping mob. We have sourced our products, materials and colours. We do quite a lot of research … and we have great feedback from our customers. We work and take advice from quite a few local interior decorators. Our products are made overseas, but we actually travelled and hand picked our manufacturing partners.

Many products are not made in Australia. And I am sure being on a bargain site you would appreciate why we can't. But I can guarantee our products, fabric and design are of very good quality.

We are not claiming that we make them ourselves … but we do have a very solid business, and we are proud of that.

            Appreciate all your feedback.
