Great lens for Sony APS-C. I just bit the bullet at this price. Before this lens, the only APS-C specific zoom lens (constant f2.8) was the Sony 16-55 f2.8, which was a few hundred dollars more. Reviews I've seen have stated the Tamron is just as sharp overall and you get an even longer zoom range for a few hundred dollars less.
