A different kind of product. For road warriors, it offers a large touch screen and keyboard when connected to a phone and can also act as a second screen for a laptop. Keep an eye out for Aliexpress coupons and specials as they come up all the time. Think of having a laptop without a CPU and USB A ports.
The Eviciv/UPerfect lapdock when compared to similar Asus products offers a few more features, a keyboard, touchpad and case for approximately 60% of the cost of an Asus Zentouch MB16AMT.
You can buy an external LCD monitor without touchscreen and without battery (which are great as a second screen with travelling with a laptop) on Ebay such as 13.3 or 15.6" for around $160 which offer Samsung Dex connectivity, USB C, mini HDMI or alternately you can connect a game console or iphone* so you can view the contents on a larger screen. Spend a little more and you get a touch screen. Spend a little more again and get an in built battery (eg ASUS ZenScreen GO MB16AHP approx $600 or ASUS ZenScreen Touch MB16AMT approx $700). The inbuilt battery provides portability and can recharge some phones via the USB C port. Note: some newer laptops with USB C Alternative Mode can connect to a standard portable screen (which does not have an inbuilt battery) and work i.e. the screen is powered from the laptop. Older laptops can connect via the hdmi or mini hdmi ports on the external monitors (depending which brand you buy). And spend even more again (approx $200) on the Eviciv and get a laptop style case, keyboard and mouse pad.
The Eviciv 13.3 portable screen is about the same size as a Dell Latitude 5300 laptop. The Eviciv (also branded as UPerfect) is sometimes referred to as a "lap dock".
Using the portable screen you can use a browser, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Outlook mobile, MS Word, Youtube or other apps running off your mobile phone - and you get access to a full keyboard, touchpad and touchscreen. If your office is accessible via VMWare or other VPN client, you can view on a larger screen. In testing the screen with a Samsung Note 20 phone, it runs Dex and charges the phone at the same time. I paired a Microsoft Notebook 5000 bluetooth mouse to my phone and now you can browse and click, just like a PC. You can even change the mouse sensitivity on the phone.
Screen colour is good and speakers are bearable (maybe similar to an external speaker on a phone).
The case rotates 360 degrees and offers a few different ways of propping up the screen: 1. Notebook Mode 2. Upside down "V" or tent style (rotating the case) 3. Stand mode (ie keyboard facing downwards) 4. Tablet mode (similar to the Stand mode but laying the screen flat)
It doesn't work with all phones and laptops via USB C, below is the list from the manufacturer. If the laptop has hdmi, that will provide an alternative connection.
*Note for iOS not all apps can be viewed on the external monitor.

Interesting product. Would be cool if they made a Chromebook at this price with a display passthrough feature.
