Price matching Woolies deal here (Thanks BA)
Use Subscribe & Save for 10% off then cancel afterwards, as most do on here, including myself, why wouldn't you!

Aren't Carman's nuts already full of protein?
Yeah, but the specific cookies and cream flavor apparently falls under the “protein range” - as denoted in the latest woolies catalogue.
Cookies and cream is my favourite too!
Thanks. Same here. These will be good.
Got the peanut butter ones today from woolies. The lady scanned it up twice though so I paid $6+ :( :( :(
You are not alone, it happened to me on Milk before. :(
It's my fault did not check the receipt before leaving.
Keep your eyes on the machine
That’s why I prefer self checkout…
Looks like I paid $3.15 to have my groceries scanned and bagged
Minimum order qty 3 :(
Yep, saw this too. Dealbreaker if near a Woolies IMO.
Someone previously mentioned that they honour the same price for future S&S shipments unless they contact you & tell you otherwise.
BS. The discount is applied to the current price of the item.
I have been canceling my S&S as I am not sure what price they are going to sell me. Do they keep the same price as the S&S setup or we have to contact them every time?
I use subscribe and save for a couple of products, for convenience, not only for a one off discount.
Prices change. They don't honour the previous price and they don't ask for your permission to renew. You just get 10% off whatever the price is on the day your sub renews.
Each time you subscribe & save they send you an email which makes this clear: "Prices go up or down over time, but you'll always get your applicable Subscribe & Save discounts on top of the current price."
Yep. This is how it works. Personally don't use it for this reason. Good for items that don't fluctuate. But I prefer to set price change alerts and simply place an order when things are low.
May I know how to set up a price alert for an item?
@hamza23: Thanks, I did not know I can do it via a third-party website.
Price matching Woolies deal
Woolies $3, Amazon $3.15 (for non SS). Not exactly price matching.
Maybe splitting the difference for the percentage of people using S&S?
Relax, close enough!
I thought the one that is 3.15 are the 210g instead of the 175g in woolies.
Yeah, this is Ozbargain, where every cent counts.
Exactly. It's cheaper at Woolworths.
Fuel/time included?
@Bunsen: I will buy magnum when I go to Woolies. Pretty sure Amazon can deliver that too.
Thanks jv.
@nepalesesquirrel: Badge of honour?
The Protein range is $3.15 at Woolworths & Amazon
Woolworths $3.15 (Was $6.30)
Amazon $3.15/$2.84 (S&S)The regular range is $3 at Woolworths & Amazon
Woolworths $3 (Was $6)
Amazon $3/$2.70 (S&S)Exactly the same price (Before the 10% Amazon S&S discount).
I guess that's the end of this thread..
Thanks hamza23, you legend. I posted this on my phone while at work so didn't get a chance to add the finer details. Thought most people could work it out for themselves.
Isn't it the rule of ozbargain… Price matching is not a deal 😜
… that would rule out a lot of the Amazon deals (they seem to mostly match Coles, Woolies, etc rather than having good deals themselves).
so that's a win/win yeah?
Yep - I still like the deals to be listed because I probably wouldn't have noticed at Coles/Woolies & the free delivery makes it worthwhile.
@Gaz1: bang on! the amount of times i do my shopping on the way home from work, then find out about the discounts etc. easier doing armchair shopping by far, get what u can on the cheap & the rest when u go colesworth..
Thanks OP.
Does this taste good? It looks pretty good
I like the ones that have a dark choc base.
Thank me later. https://youtu.be/sNz2gWqL0Ng?t=622
thanks i think :..its all so confusing… i read that Sunflower oil is very healthy (uncooked) but this states seed oils and sugar are really bad — is this because in the bars its cooked and oxidized in larger amounts? but then it states to have oils with protein which the bars provide… to much to take in via one video and one watch …I think im going to look more into it ..thank you
The idea is that polyunsaturated fats, found mainly in seed oils, oxidise even without cooking i.e. they are far less stable than saturated oils and cause inflammation in the body and a myriad of harmful impacts on health. Ideally we should stick to saturated fats such as tallow, lard, avocado and coconut oils for example, but for dogma of the last 40 years…
Here is another good video on the same topic: https://youtu.be/AhRCX3nNhA4
Thank you sir - there is so much misinformation, debate and biased interests with such a complex area its hard to absorb it all.
Maximin qty 3 per account :-(
Picked up 8 from woolworths just today.
Has any one tried the Dark Choc Expresso one.
My favourite. Recommended for people like me who like coffee and tea flavours.Dark Choc Expresso are my favorite as well - I dont like coffee but the mixture of bitter coffee and nuts is amazing
Got the first pack delivered today from amazon
Best before date 27 December 2020
Woolworths best before date april to August 2021
I know legally you are still allowed to sell past best before dates, but not a good look Amazon
That's not good enough. Jump on Amazon live chat, they will issue a refund or replacement.
You can get a no return refund pretty easy with Amazon, just flick them an email. I definitely would with past best before date. Just checked mine and they are all July or September 2021.
That was 1 pack out of 15 ordered of 3 types of nut bars
Other 14 scheduled to be delivered next week. I hope they are fresher
Shame they don’t have the cookies and cream protein version.
