Errrr…. this should be taken down - this is not relevant in Australia. Otherwise why not post bargains from any country?

Guidelines say available TO Australians. My guess more people on eastern coast are likely to visit NZ than travel to WA (which is still 'in' according to your POV).

      • Yes, as in, if something is available overseas but they ship to Australia, that's fine. But this can't even be used IN Australia. I mean, in theory, anything on the planet is available to Australians..

Well in that case wouldn't you apply the same logic to all the airline deals that are posted up that don't depart from Australia?

NZ is a popular destination with Aussies so I would say there would be people interested in this deal!

exactly - nz is popular to australians, and the whole thing can be applied online without actually being in NZ currently - I would say if you find something cheap with a street vendor in saigon - dont post that here.

regarding this deal though I found that car rental can be pretty cheap in NZ, this is more suited if you're travelling alone and not in a group.

        • Car rental is cheap because of all the rubbish grey imports in NZ. In Australia they use quality (brand-new) vehicles for rentals - well, the major companies do, at least.

I go to NZ a couple of times a year. Went last time as it was $350 cheaper to fly over and stay in a comparable hotel than to go to Brisbane from Sydney. (not to mention the duty free stuff and GST refund on stuff) so thanks-I'll check this out as I'm going again early next year.

Seems pretty relevant to me; I've been to NZ twice in the last 3 years. And perversely, I've never been to the People's Republic of Western Australia…
