Just a heads up if you want more batteries get it with the purchase of the gopro camera. If you want the charger (which comes with the battery) get it now with the purchase. When I got mine at the release of the 9, the battery and charger were not available. Now that I want to purchase the charger with battery I cant (even with the subscription). This is the message that pops up "We apologize for the inconvenience, but due to IATA shipping regulations we cannot ship battery products to your destination unless you have a device (camera or drone) in your cart. If you do have a device (camera or drone) in your cart please reduce the total number of batteries to two (2) to proceed"
If you decide you want another battery at a later date, you wont be able to buy it at the 30% discounted price from GoPro as they will not ship the battery (without another camera or drone) to Australia.
Also remember GoPro will bill you is $US. I forgot (twice now….shame on me) and used a card that charged a international transaction fee.
Which bundle did you get? Are you overall satisfied with the 9?
Was just the initial release offering with the discounted price and included subscription (which I now have to remember to set it to not renew too). The 9 is much nicer than the 8 but it is a little larger. Wish it was the same size as the 8. The front colour screen is really good and makes it worth it! Battery lasts a little longer. Microphone still is very average (and from what I read even the new mic bolt on isn't much better either, and better off getting the microphone adaptor cable for it.) Still heats up with long continuous recording, which people seem to defend on the forums saying that its only intended for short recordings due to it purpose as an action camera. Touch screen does not play well with a thick tempered glass screen protector. Will probably go back to a plastic film type one.
Read on the forums about other Australians complaining that they couldn't get the batteries due to the shipping restrictions as they weren't available at the launch of the product and Gopro really don't care.

I am planning to get one for mountain biking as I have a Hero 5 but videos are way to shaky to be enjoyable..
@ets27: Yes I'm still satisfied. I haven't noticed the lag, except caused by the glass screen protector. Make sure you order the bike attachement when you order the camera too. There's a minimum order amount to get free shipping. Pretty much order everything now, as it wont be worth it after that unless you do a large order.

Just one last question… Does the $529 come with the camera case as the main packaging correct?

@ets27: Yep the case in the box with just a cardboard wrap around. There's an insert inside with 2 compartments as such, one to fit the camera. Its a bit large though. I just put the gopro in a small camera case in the end. I bought the silicon case from gopro as well which fits really well. The quality is good. Had a few shitty ones off ebay for the 8. I virtually sold the 8 for the same price I bought it from GoPro.
Is it worth to get the bundle and what is the camera case that comes with the bundle?
I thought the case would be included even in the non-bundle version..

somewhat, only in my moving car so far.
batteries do go quick due to heat from high res recording. I need a third but cannot purchase because they are dumb (profanity). much of the UI/software across the board is average at best. slow to connect to the phone app etc. footage is great for its price and functions, still a little average at night and with direct sunlight but the camera is fairly fast and easy to use. I can swap batteries while actively mountain biking.
