    There's also US$2 off US$20 with coupon HGFAE202 unless that's expired already?

Change the URL to aliexpress.com as best.aliexpress.com filters out a lot of the cheaper products and a good way to tell if you've got an affiliate cookie tracking your purchase ;)

    • +1

Have changed URL and added HGFAE202, thanks.

    • HGFAE202 only applied to my $A47 cart.

      • I tested it with US$23 in cart and it worked.

    • How do you keep it at aliexpress.com? Mine keeps redirecting to best.aliexpress.com

      • Different browser or go incognito. When I intend on purchasing something with cashback I typically add it to the wishlist with incognito and then go through a normal cashback with a normal browser session, add to cart and checkout. It works everytime.

The reason it goes to best.aliexpress.com is that they're trying to stop you from seeing products that don't pay out affiliate commission. Up until recently cashback sites could get commission on everything, while every day affiliate partners were restricted. Now that only certain items can get cashback it's not so bad having it redirect.

        • Wait so is best.aliexpress.com better than aliexpress.com?
Also does best work with https://portals.aliexpress.com/linkchecker.htm?

          • @Koipanda: When you go through an affiliate link it redirects you to best.aliexpress.com that omits products from your search. Sometimes but not always these products omitted are the ones that'll say they're not valid for cashback on the link checker.

Very risky buying from AliExpress market place. You can receive nothing and yet the status changed to delivered. When you open a dispute the resolution centre just cancel your dispute and propose $0 refund.

    • +1

You must have had bad luck of the draw. I'm at over 800 orders with aliex. Only once did I have an order show as delivered that I did not get. Put in a claim and it was refunded.

      • AliExpress won’t investigate. It just relies on the seller to decide whether it wants to propose any refund at all and closes the case. If you are unlucky to deal with dishonest seller that has decided to refund $0 AliExpress will just follow the seller’s decision and closes your case by cancelling your dispute. The risk I am talking about is AliExpress doesn’t do anything and you have to depend on whether the seller is honest. Oh by the way, all my orders from different sellers have the same order numbers and tracking is also rubbish! Some items I already received from good sellers and yet the status was showing in transit for a few more weeks that I had to manually go into my account to update the status that I had received the items myself LOL. In my opinion Amazon > eBay > AliExpress. The only reason I bought from Aliexpress was it had items not sold elsewhere otherwise I would avoid it and chose Amazon or eBay.

        • A lot of it depends on your membership level. If you're at the bottom on Silver level, have made only a handful of purchases and start throwing disputes AliExpress will be less inclined to help. If you're Gold, Platinum or Diamond that's another story.

When I was a gold member I had no difficulty with disputes and now as platinum it's been much the same. The practice is extremely dodgy but all too common in China.

          • @Clear: Yeah i was quite new bought 20 items spent about $1000 in 2 months. In between there was 1 order with missing 1 small accessory that I opened a dispute for partial refund of $5 was accepted by the seller and 1 no tracking of item had been posted i received full refund. With the recent dispute the seller proposed $0 refund which in fact I gave it 2 more weeks past the esitmated delivery date and now i think i was too stupid to give mercy to sellers thinking delay was due to covid. The seller seems dodgy because it opened the store in Dec 2019 with 200 more items listed but now the store has only 1 item listed on AliExpress. I have 1 more order from a different seller and this time i will file a dispute immediately the next day past the estimated delivery date. Once this order is completed i will never buy from AliExpress again.

@wtfnodeal: I generally only buy from stores that have significantly, if not the most, orders of that particular item compared to other sellers of the same item PLUS have a good rating.

              • @anthman: I did and the seller had 98% ratings and the particular item had 50+ sold although I wasn’t sure how did it manage to get such status within a month. What annoys me is AliExpress wants a fee from every item sold in the market place but doesn’t want to spend a minute to investigate the disputes and closes the disputes by stating that the “buyer cancels dispute”. I mean wtf is Aliexpress itself is a scammer or something that it cancels my dispute by itself and states that the buyer cancels the dispute?!

                • @wtfnodeal: Experienced disputes just been finalised, or try this wait 5 more days shit then when 5 days is up wait 5 more days again 15 days past 90 day Peyton period item arrives cause sellers seem to start doing the scum trick offer paid epacket then send a message epacket can't be sent sent via cheapest/free option instead for you wait for your package 80days. If it ringtones like PayPal refund do they'd already be doing the same thing they drop one eBay. Oh sure please remove your refund dispute order first then we'll refund $….

The cancelling the disputes cause store said we'll give $0.00 refund as counter proposal before the 3 days or whatever it is you have to respond to their offer is very annoying.

Your best bet is to talk to customer service and raise the dispute through them, had 90% success rate via that position compared to 30-40% the normal way and trusts usually because tracking says return to sender or something similar.

          • @Clear: Where does it states your membership level?

            • @rokufan: You need to look at your account in the app. Click on the avatar to the left of your name

              • @Clear: Thanks, I didn't know that. Apparently I'm a silver member and get 5% off. Do you know if that only applies if you buy using the app?

Very risky buying from <Insert any online store here>. You can receive nothing and yet the status changed to delivered.

  • No working. Tried to add code for 97$ item. Says order amount is under the minimum spend

    • Not quite sure what minimum spends are, so trying different amounts at checkout. I tried HGFAE697 with minimum spend of US$87 and that worked.

  • I’m getting tired of the price bamboozlement with multiple “colour” and shipping location options. Then if you actually find something cheap they scam you for more money after you’ve ordered.

    • That's happened to me also, I ignored the messages and they sent it anyway.

    • +2

I'm over 800 orders with aliex. Never had anyone hit me up for more after I paid.

      • +1

        That’s impressive! Congratulations!

      • Musnt be buying items that can't be cloned easily. Got hot up from multiple sites for extra Momo after ordering for a specific products in multiple instances. You diamond member?

@adr8.* The clickbait colour pricing thing with a worthless junk item chucked in the list to display low price on search is universal on all platforms, see it all the time on eBay, tb, tmall, JD. Just makes you want to make a note and note to avoid each site doing it.

    • Yep happened to me with one of the xiaomi phones. Will never buy from that store again.

    • I've placed pretty high quantity orders (hundreds of pieces), high value orders (over A$1,000), and hundreds of small orders and the only times I've ever had someone ask me for more were:

      • When I've worked out a special price for something with a seller and accidentally used one of their store coupons
      • A couple of times I've asked sellers to resend stuff due to quality issues they have asked me to purchase a $0.01 item which I believe is just for shipping/tracking purposes (or they say you can buy any item from the store and they will send it with that item).
      • I have contacted the seller after purchasing an item and asked to change the item or shipping method.
      • A seller suggested a different shipping method due to a small difference in cost with a greatly improved shipping time (and no, this isn't a scam to get more money from me. The few times I have done this it was a difference of a couple of dollars on a large order and ended up arriving weeks quicker than I originally expected)
      • What items are you ordering hundreds of/depending 1000s on? Lol

They wouldn't behave like normal for you as your making them a heap of money and probably saving them money by taking AliExpress like alibaba.com ordering business quantities n not consumer quantities as AliExpress is intended for. Assuming there's a difference in pricing for stores between AliExpress and Alibaba.com.

Experienced opposite of everything you've listed multiple times.

Dont use paypal with credit cards in AliExpress unless you need a cash advance fee.

    • Why’s that? Because of USD currency conversion fee? If that’s the problem, you can manually select to pay without conversion in PayPal checkout options.

      • +2

I believe some credit cards consider an Aliexpress purchase a cash advance if you pay with your CC via PayPal. Using your PayPal balance of course negates this, but the exchange rate is inferior to a CC. My Coles CC doesn't use the cash adv method to process a payment.

  • Not working here, first one

  • Has anyone got any new codes?
