    YES IT DOES PLAY BLU-RAY HD-DVD AND MANY OTHER FORMS OF FULL HIGH DEFINITION FILMS AND IT ALSO COOKS
    EGGS THAT TASTE GREAT. AND FOR A LIMITED TIME YOU CAN HAVE THE NON STICK VERSION AS WELL.

  Spec's don't state whether the MM cartridge output is processed through an inbuilt pre-amplifier for "normal" line-output level and equalization.

    Yes it does have an inbuilt pre-amp so you can use it on any hifi or amplifier/receiver.
