Samsung Galaxy SII - Crazy Johns - Free on $35 Plan Plus Free $50 Visa Gift Card

30

After having a look at the Galaxy SII sales going on, Crazy Johns also have a competing offer. There is free on their $35 plan. 24 months jailtime, total min cost $840 plus you also get a free $50 Visa Gift Card.

Crazy Johns are on the Vodafone network, so you get all the same blackspots and poor coverage as they do.

Now i know Virgin and Voda have slighlty cheaper deals, but you get far more credit with Johns than Voda and Virgin ($330 vs $180 (VF) vs $190 (VM) you also have included 750mb vs 200mb (VF) vs 250mb (VM) data, free calls to other Voda, Crazy's and 3 phones.

These plans don't suit everyone, but suit me for a second phone (especially when the heat is on with personal calls on the work phone)

Virgin only have $190 credit and 250mb of data.

      • yeah but that would be plenty for most people.

        • it would? 1 app can be more than that… if your not using it for anything else besides a phone it might, but that defeats the purpose of a smart phone… add to that if you go over the data limit it can get quite pricy.
          (i didnt neg you)

also why not get the voda 29 deal same network no?

        • mate, I have a iphone and get 250mb of data and IT IS PLENTY. You do not understand until you have used a smartphone for a long period of time. Unless you want to be tethering it to your laptop or watching youtube, or downloading apps (which most people do over wifi anyway..) there is no need for excessive data allowances.

I browse the web all the time and use the apps and have never gone over.

        • problem is some networks charge in mb increments. (dodgy)

          also

          firmware and program updates…

        • Usually if an app is more than 20Mb the Market will only let you download it on a WiFi connection, which is bypassing your data plan anyway.

        • Well different people different needs. If you have a real smartphone like the Galaxy S2, chances are you can burn through 250mb very fast especially in the first few months downloading apps, watching videos, doing internet/video calling. Especially so if the Android Market happens to have their 10c per app sale!

You can also use a surprising amount of data if you're flashing ROMs/kernels, using kitchen apps, or flashing different modems and running speed tests.

Add 5 dollars and get extra 500mb on virgin.

It has two advantages over crazy john's. One you are not on vodafone. Two you get a "retail" no carrier bloatware openline phone on virgin, with voda you still need to go through a process to openline it.

    • Add $4 for an extra 700MB on vodafone. Although when you sign up with the galaxy S2 $29 plan in store they'll force you to join the extra 700mb thing for the first 12 months.
