Is this a genuine Certa ??

Not sure that I'd Certa-fy it as such …

    • Let's make a con-certa-d effort to keep this going.

I bought two of these for like $43.99 each on sale a couple months ago. (Plus shipping $16.99)This is a good price, they are a really good size, and they do the job. Quality is good enough, the hinges on top lid are a little flimsy, but I usually just put a brick on top of lid to keep it shut anyway. Still have struggled to fill up the first

Basically a relatively cheap compost bin

This is a cheaply made compost bin. You might get broken connectors. I don't know how long it will last; the plastic walls are very thin.

Standard price @ Kogan used to be $60; can be up to $100 elsewhere with slightly different colours.

Same price as the smaller Australian made 220L "Dirt Vader Compost Bin" from https://compostrevolution.com.au/

Not in the market for one, but if I was I'd probably get the Dirt Vader instead

    • Dirt Vader is $59.90 + delivery ($75.90 delivered). How is that the same price as the $39.99 + delivery for the Certa at Kogan ?.

Plus there's a 2 to 3 week wait for delivery for the Dirt Vader. It's obviously not stocked locally in Australia.

      • Compost revolution have free shipping every now and then. Very happy with our dirt Vader

Looks like the RRP discount + free delivery is council specific. My local (Maroondah) is eligible.

        It says "Made in Australia".

      • Thank you!!
Based on my council, I can get 50% off plus free delivery!

OMG that is an infinitely better name !

    • I have the eco roller - was great for a few years, but a rat chewed through the side. And the plastic buckled around the axle. Looking at the compost Resolution site, trying to decide which one is going to last a bit better…
