Hahaha here we go again with psn cards.
Edit: just tried domayne (one that worked for me last time) and latitudepay isnt an option :(

    • +2

I had a go myself - I can confirm whenever a Playstation gift card is added to the order LatitudePay disappears as an option.

      • +1

It's probably best they've made it disappear as an option now. Before they would just let you buy your PSN card, never deliver it, and then wait for you to call them to refund it. I waited around a couple of weeks last time. Apparently their internal system won't work with latitude and psn credit.

        • Actually, I was in the same boat with undelivered cards from the spend $150 get $50 back in October. This issue was the PlayStation cards were ozbargained and fell over due to the quantity of sales that day.

On a later spend $60 get $20 back I successfully bought 2 x $30 PSN cards from each of the stores (harvery norman, domayne, and joyce mayne) with no issues. They were delivered within a few minutes each time.

It seems like it is history now anyway sadly, as it seems like PlayStation cards and PSN subscriptions are all excluded from latitudepay payments.

    • Same with me. No Latitude Pay option provided. I thought I was the only one.

Does anyone know if you can use Latitude Pay for Good Guys Commercial?

    • That would be great if it does

    • +2

      CC and PayPal only

Promotional period for new customers 13th - 31st Jan 2021.
Promotional period for existing customers 21st - 22nd Jan 2021.

    • Hi vt,

I can't see for Existing Customers, looks like for only new customer…..

      • It's noted at the bottom of the banner as "All LatitudePay customers".

  • +11

    Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury $48 @ Harvey Norman w/ this promotion.

    • I didn't know that Harvey Norman have games. Good to know!

  • Is there a limit of 1 per Latitude Pay account ?
Or the limit is 1 transaction per each retailer ?

    • +1

      One per retailer

    • +1

I guess you can use this twice, first as a new customer, then as an existing customer on 21st January.

  • +1

Do these buy now pay later services impact credit rating, even if you pay it off on time?

    • +5

Depends which one. Afterpay for example does not credit check, but if you were applying for a loan the broker might make a note of any afterpay transactions in your account.

Latitude and Zip do perform a credit check, so will appear on your report. If you pay it all off on time it should have no or a negligible impact on your rating, though.

    • +1

I think it is counted as a credit application (it showed up on my credit file) but only for the initial purchase.

    • +2

Yes, LatitudePay makes a credit enquiry with Experian (I think) which may lower your credit score.

    • +1

I applied, got rejected, with a credit score of 860 with no bad history. Really not worth $20 to stuff up your credit rating.

  • Seems like Latitude Pay a thing now (for me) considering to apply

    • Agree. I signed up last week. Thinking of what I can buy now!

  • +4

Don't bother to buy PS store credit.

  • -1

Will it also work when buying gift cards?

    • no,just tried in HN.

  • -2

Catch is included. So another $40 case of beer will be coming my way.

    • +1

Is it? I don't see Catch listed this time

      • +2

Oops, you're right. They are on the landing page at the link, but don't have the offer text.
No beer and TV make homer go crazy.

  • +1

This is probably a dumb question but you can use the $20 off at each of the stores right? Not just $20 off one store?

    • +1

Yes, $20 off for each store.

    • Yes. Once each store

  • Decent deal, debating whether worth the credit check or not

    • +4

FWIW, I have used this $20 off promo 4 times in the past so far.
Three of those were for cases of 4 pines delivered for $40ea. So it has been worth the nuisance for me.

  • ignore.

  • +1

$20 worthy of credit check? Don’t think so.

  • It ain't worth a credit check to me.

    I mean even ZIP wasn't, but I saved $120

I think where you can gain $500+ from Credit Cards, I don't think it's worth the Credit Checks for $20-80. I think each to their own, as some people can't get Credit Cards, or hit the MIN spends.

    • But the $500 from credit cards are one off. These deals seem on going. I never apply for one off credit card offers coz one off doesn’t appeal to me.

    • +2

Just like a credit card, all these BNPL things can save you a decent amount of money if you’re already going to buy things.
I have saved a few hundred dollars just in general shopping esp over the Christmas period (Amazon + super saturdays 10% cashback with zip, and multiple lots of the Latitude $20 off)

  • I tried to sign up with latitude pay but I got 0 credit even though I ran a credit report yielding a high credit rating.

  • Going to apply one

  • Anybody know if "new customer" means signed up during the promo period, or first spend during? Obviously safe to assume the former, but just checking.

  • People are saying not worth the credit check, does the credit check happen every time you purchase something at latitude or only on sign up?

    • Should be only once at sign up.

I joined LatitudePay last year, but I still did not receive credit check alert from my Equifax credit alert subscription. Perhaps they do not perform credit check all the time?

  • +1

Does it matter? Credit score means practically nothing for a home loan

  • Catch not included this time

  • I'm still waiting on my PS5 dual controller charger to arrive from the last Lattitude Pay HN deal. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • +2

I am still waiting for a PS5 charger ordered on 8 Oct. Have seen lots of stores such as Jb hifi, amazon etc get stock since then - just not Harvey Norman yet.

      • Yep! The store reps did tell me I can buy it elsewhere and HN will refund the money to me… However, I dunno what that means for the bonus claimed from the Latitude Pay deal. I read something about refunds will void the deal, but then again, I've already paid it all off and the deal is done.

      • Oh, it's not just me! I'm waiting for the Pulse 3D Headset from Harvey Norman; and the DualSense Charging Station from Joyce Mayne.

  • Could I pay for all but $60 of a purchase with gift cards, and pay the remaining $60 with Latitude Pay? Or is this not possible?

    • Exact same question I came to ask.
Also emailed LatitudePay support to see what they say.

    • +1

I contacted HN's live help and the rep said it's fine to do; enter the GC's first and the balance can be paid with LatitudePay.

      • Legend, thanks!

  • +1

How do you know if the $20 off worked? Is there a confirmation?

  • Could I pay for all but $60 of a purchase with my girlfriend Latitude pay and pay the remaining $60 with my Latitude Pay? Or is this not possible?

    • Not possible.

  • Does anyone know how long it takes to receive 28 degrees cashback after eligible purchase?
