  • Thanks

  • Thanks! required to be a azure sme for next year, this will kick start my journey!

  • Anyone know how you can "attend" these classes if you have a day job?
Are they accessible at an earlier time?
Is there a way to get the voucher without actually be present for the class?

    • +1

You typically need to check in your attendance to get the vouchers. Just book one outside your timezone if you want to watch after hours.

  • Is a webcam needed to attend these classes ? I don't want Amazon seeing inside my room.

    • You mean MS?

    • No webcam needed for the classes. You do need one for all proctored exams.

  • I smell a puzzle in the Order of Modules.
Maybe my study material is different.
    Module 1 Understand Cloud Concepts
Lesson 1 Understand The Benefits and Considerations of Cloud Services
    1.1 Understand High Availability
1.2 Understand scalability, elasticity, and agility
Module 13.2 Is actually Understand Trust Center.
Last Lesson Is Understand Service Lifecycle In Azure
    Monitor Feature Updates.
In the Link it only states.
    Part 1 Part 2
    Introduction Introduction
    Module 0: Course Introduction
Module 1: Cloud Concepts Module 3: Security, Privacy, Compliance & Trust
Break: 10 minutes Break: 10 minutes
Module 2: Core Azure Services Module 4: Azure Pricing and Support
    Closing Closing

I've recently attended and booked (but not sat the exam). I found the classes useful for an overview and having broad concepts explained using real world examples, but outside of that, it's almost a sales pitch to a) use cloud computing and b) use MS instead of AWS etc….

    To answer a few questions:

You need to attend (ie. Logon) to the class, no webcam connection required).
There are popup questions to 'test' your knowlege… no idea if you needed to answer a portion of these to prove your attention/attendance is legitimate…

No practical component, just a well produced presentation

    • I agree. To charge for this exam is a joke. It's in MS interest to get people onto their platform (away from the competition) and in turn become advocates for them.

    Any exam tips?

    • +1

      Study?

Ensure you go through use cases and understand where the value of cloud computing is.
What service to use to find specific info, and types of db

I have attended part 1 and 2 back earlier this month but have yet to receive the free exam voucher. Sent an email to Microsoft but haven't heard back

    • You do not need voucher anymore, can just book exam using same email at no cost.

      • Oh really? I will try that thanks

        • did it work out?

    • You will need to link your email which you signed up to your microsoft account when booking. That's all.

  • how do you study for the exam?

  • how do i save a post so that I can come back and look at this later?

    • +1

Use the Reminder function just under the main post ^
