  • The bigger one that was advertised a few weeks ago is brilliant. I still haven't had to charge it!!!

    • Yeah i know, i've charged it about 5 times, which gives you an idea of how much work it's done… i love it! The battery lasts a LONG time and for the price it's plenty powerful enough for me.

  • 3.6v? that ain't going to be able to do much is it?

you are not buying this to build a house. Its ideal for small jobs around the house, tighten a kitchen cupboard door, replace a hinge, put a screw in the wall for a picture, etc

  • This is one powertool I still haven't bought… I figure it's less hassle to use a screwdriver that you don't need to recharge.

    • Unless you are doing a shitload of light screwdrivering then these aren't worth it. I have one sitting on my bench at work, and pick up a real screwdriver 99% of the time, this could drill cardboard and plastic and thats about it. I highly doubt it could make it all the way through that peice of timber in the photo.

Oh and 3.6v can get stuff about as tight as I could do it up with my tongue (not very) compared to my hands. One more thing, if you think you can use it as a regular screwdriver you are wrong, it will wreck the clutch in a few weeks doing that and probably wont be replaced under warranty.

      Thats it, thats all.

Going by the picture, it is powerful enough to drill too (at least on wood instead of concrete)?? I couldn't find details on the torque.
