  • Do you sell just the motor (without the desk)?

  • How do these compare to omnidesk?

    • We offer a 10-year warranty on our dual frames and I believe we've got a few more desktop woods and finishes available.

Any chance on a better deal, OP? As an example, you can get the same 1500mm desk for $604 (after $20 off email subscription) here https://buydirectonline.com.au/office-furniture/office-desks…

Adelaide metro gets free shipping in that price too.

I agree, desks look nice, but this price is not exactly a good deal.

The desk you linked is not a real wood top like the Bamboo one I included in the title. We do have a cheaper melamine desktop available like that one which is more comparable, plus we offer a 10-year warranty on our frame (including motor), whereas this one you linked is only 3 years on the motor. I can't speak to the quality of that product, but we back ours up with the extended warranty. Extra 7 years piece of mind…

  • Anyone know the difference between desky and zenspacedesks? Seems like the desk models look similar/the same and have the same prices.

  • curious about these motorised ones, it says 140kg capacity, does it mean it becomes unsafe (ie. desk would suffer a catastrophic failure) or you just can't use the motor?

    • +1

If over 140kg it just wont be able to move and you will hear it labouring and struggling to lift it, so 140 is safe.

I bought this one during Thanksgiving sale for $328 (10% off promotion and 10% cashback via CR and $25 Amazon GC via Citibank). It was $420 RRP at the time.
Dual motors in black color and 120kg capacity. Really sturdy and good quality.

Paired it with a bunnings benchtop and stained it and here is final result

    • What are the dimensions of your tabletop? And would you say there's any wobble at raised height?

      • +2

You have to reaaally give it a nudge to make it wobble. I have mine at 110cm when standing and type like a madman and she's sturdy. Standard sizes are:

        1200 x 750mm
        1500 x 750mm
        1800 x 750mm
        2000 x 800mm

We also can do custom sizing on request for some of the desktops

        • What about it's stability on a normal carpet floor? Anything special that one would have to do in this case?

      • @billosophy

I bought from amazon not the one advertised in this deal. I have loaded an iKea bookshelf for testing which weighs 60 kg on it and it was very stable and no struggles with moving motors. My tabletop is 2200mm x 600mm

    • thank you.

  • If a part fails (motor, power supply) dies, are we able to get a new part sent out without having to dissasemble and return the entire desk (costing a fortune in shipping)?

Also at $650 (sale price) for just the frame, that's the same price as Ikea's IDASEN, which uses genuine LINAK motors. I can't seem to find which motors Desky uses.

    • We request a video of the parts to ensure everything is tested, request a restart of the desk and if a part fails then we send you the part required to fix it. Ie a Leg
