Been waiting for a while to get some cheap Samsonite Cosmolite luggage for the next overseas holiday in 2025.
70% off on this deal seemed as good as I will get. Limited on the colours but was happy with the blue.
RRP is probably quite inflated for the value but I know a few people with this model and they are very happy.
Considering the lackluster deals today felt the need to share.

This is such a great price. I missed the deal doh. Although is this luggage allowed on Qantas? Have I read it wrong or is this size too large to be allowed on Qantas?
From what I have read sometimes there are issues with smaller airlines overseas. I have travelled with a similar size for years across Europe and US, never an issue.
In my experience all they care about is weight and really oversized cargo, like a surfboard.
From Qantas website:
Piece based baggage allowances
No single piece can exceed 32kg (70lb).
Total dimensions of the 3 pieces must not exceed 405cm (159in) and total dimensions of the 2 pieces must not exceed 270cm (106in) with no single piece exceeding 158cm (62in). Dimensions for checked baggage are calculated by adding together the width, height and depth of the piece of baggage.

I got another Samsonite on the same day from Catch. A few days later I got a shipping delay notice. Then yesterday I got a cancellation notice. Asked them what was up and got this:
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. We have been investigating a system error with Catch that led to incorrect pricing being listed for a number of our products at the time your order was placed. Only yesterday, did we receive advice from Catch that your order is to be cancelled as a result of this error. You should have received a message from Catch recently that a full refund has been actioned on your order.
The pricing error has since been rectified and our products are available at their corrected price.
We are continuing to work closely with the Catch team to understand the root cause of the issue and gaining assurance that it won’t re-occur.

The only thing that is somewhat strange is that it appears that multiple of the products listed had ‘incorrect pricing’.
And it wasn’t just a random day it was Boxing Day.
They sent me a $30 credit at least as a sorry today.
Great price for this size, but be careful as it’s really easy to go over weight limits with this size bag. I stick with the next size down in the cosmolites for this reason
