Lowest price I've seen, could be wrong. Seems like a great price for what you get. Been going for ~$650-750 recently.

Hmm been thinking about upgrading or swapping my s10+ (exynos) is this a good grab?
yes this is an insane price for what it’s worth. Might be an error as there’s another same listing on the website for $719
Are they going to cancel it like the BlackFriday/CyberMonday 7t Pro? (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/583533#comment-9824819)
Mind you, they will be keeping your shipping fee even if they cancel the phone, and their customer service will only offer the shipping fee as account credit when you raise it. Not as refund. Also slow response blaming COVID and festive season (understandable)OzBargainer beware :/
That's Kogan
dick smith is owned by kogan
This is making me hesitate possibly purchasing! Seems a bit dodge
Pay it with PayPal…
No B28 is a turn off unfortunately.
@Shanetrain: Global version has B28.
Great phone, got it from Ali-express Singles Day sale for approximately this price.
@team teri: really? The 12GB ram 256GB rom model for $489?? Never seen this price before
mate, I paid with PayPal and there's where the delivery fee was kept and not refunded, already raised PayPal dispute because the merchant is keeping the delivery fee when nothing is heading my way
@frkino: Have you won the PayPal dispute?
@Dienk: No, PayPal is allowing the Kogan to respond by 2nd Jan 2021, still hanging
In PayPal's email:

That's a sensational price!
OP, should put 5G in the title as well
Ebay Dick Smith @AU $586.80 (OnePlus Nord 5G Global Model 12GB RAM, 256GB, Blue Marble)
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/193775358874?chn=ps&norover=1&mk…$100 more? or am i missing something?
It is weird!
probs to cover the 10% eBay selling fee and PayPal fee
Any idea if this is EU or Indian (no B28) variant?
OnePlus Nord global model doesn't have B28
4G Network 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 38, 39, 40, 41They have in UK version, and that one is Indian or 2001.
Global version does have B28, from the official website here
Band
GSM: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900
WCDMA: B1, B2, B4, B5, B8, B9, B19
LTE-FDD: B1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 28, 32, 66
LTE-TDD: B34, 38, 39, 40, 41
5G: N1, N3, N7, N28, N78
MIMO: LTE: B1, 3, 4, 7, 38, 41 NR: N1, N3, N7, N78Wow. That is nice then
It has to be either model AC2003 (with B28 support) or model AC2001 (without B28 support). A lot of website say global but there is technically no global model (it's either UK AC2003 or Indian AC2001).
https://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_3007256648922103.htm…
Even gearbest "global" model lists no B28. You think they would lie to you about not having B28?
This Banggood one is the UK model.

Give you another example of a "Global" Indian model that does not support B28.
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B086977J3K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_f…
Says Global model and also says AC2001
If the Dicksmiths lists no B28 support, believe them.
@plasmoske: There is a model that is officially called 'Global Model' by OnePlus, the AC2003. The only country that has a different version is India.
If someone sells the Indian version as 'Global Model', that is deceptive conduct and surely a reason for a return.
This listing is inconsistent, in that it claims 'Global Model' but does not list band 28. Not that it matters now, being sold out…
No B28 Unfortunately :(
Indian. No b28.
global model has b28 according to official OnePlus website. It’s sold out anyway now

@plasmoske: will report back when it gets delivered
@plasmoske: I got it yesterday and indeed a2001 model. Not too worried as I have my main iPhone 12 pro max and will be using this as a secondary phone. It’s so much lighter and thinner than the pro max. Pretty happy with it
Hope they honour this, my current phone is falling apart.
Just got one. Paid with paypal

Mid range killer. But not strong on 5G frequency
kogan has the same price. with free delivery for kogan first members
Never get a phone without b28. You'll get the crappiest reception.
There's a Indian version with less frequencies and no b28. This appears to be the AC2001 model/Indian/global.
There's also a UK version AC2003 model with all the frequencies including b28. A must have to get decent 4g signal. Trust me i know. I took a gamble and got a OnePlus phone without b28 and I'm struggling to reception in many parts of Australia, including even inside Coles (meanwhile friends are able to have signal while I can't) lol.
Also the price is super low. Seems a bit suspicious. Seems to be a pricing error.
https://www.dicksmith.com.au/da/buy/oneplus-nord-5g-global-m…
They sell the same model on their website and eBay for much higher. Good chance they will not honour it.
band 28 is becoming more important once you get out of the inner city, have been doing site surveys for work and it’s amazing the number of places in outer metro and country that now lock into band 28 for 4g data.
I'm currently in a countryside town (Beechworth) for xmas and I can't even scan QR code and check into restaurants properly because website times out due to lack of b28.
I guess this phone is alright if you live in inner metro, don't ever plan to travel outside and don't need reception while in a shopping centre.
So you're negging this deal because there a major issues with W manufacturer? No, you bought a phone intended for a different market.
Next you'll be negging all Amazon UK deals because they come with with a UK plug.Nah I'm mainly negging it due to it clearly being a pricing error.
And it'll be a slow process to get your money back.
I provided a link to the correct listing.
And yes, also b28 lol
Well UK plug can easily be solved with a UK AU plug. There's nothing to fix lack of b28 though.
A deal with a U.K. plug would be a purchase that can still function by using an adaptor. There aren't adaptors cheaply available that will modify the band 28 signal to those bands being phased out along with 3G or allow the phone to receive a signal that cannot penetrate to the middle of large buildings.
It's a phone only suitable for inner urban residents.
I have a pocophone and live and Darwin. We don't have metro anywhere here lol. I drive 30km down to South and my non b28 pocophone still works
It depends region to region but for the most part, Optus and Telstra usually roll out B28 4G towers.
If they ever upgrade towers or replace them, don't be surprised to see only 4G B28 and 5G support (3G/HTE will be phased out soon).
Some older towers have dual frequencies so in that case, your non B28 phone should work fine, for now.
There are much more areas with non B28 support than there are with.
It says band 28 but only on 5g?
4G Network 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 38, 39, 40, 41
5G Network 1, 3, 7, 28, 78Different kind of 28. You're looking for 4G 28, as that's one of the most common 4G frequency in Australia.
Just to mention, apart from B28, the other issue with all OnePlus Phones is that after Android 11 update, enabling VoLTE and 5G has become impossible. So better check the below forum discussion before buying any OnePlus phone.
https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/thread/9485zln9?p=45#r882Shame it doesn't have b28, volte and 5g config. Would have bought in a heart beat. Even at rrp it's a better phone than the competition.
How do we check if a phone has b28?
check the specs
OOS
Just wondering if anybody receive the device at this price or Kogan/Dick Smith cancelled it as I unfortunately missed this deal. Thanks
Good price. Dunno why I just bought another phone but will see if they honour it
