think it's the same price at woolies, if you prefer cash and carry, or if you don't have Prime

  • scroll down for other flavours that shops dont commonly carry

How does the taste compare to the original stuff?

    • -1

      Original is better imo.
If you're gonna have soft drink might as well cop the proper version

    • +2

Original is better, bought a case of the diet from Woolies and kinda regret it…it's not terrible but the original is definitely tastier

    • +7

I like the diet flavor more than the original personally. Feels like there's more ginger flavor to me :)

      • +4

There is more ginger in the diet

    • +1

I found it to be kind of dry. You also get the sugar substitute taste which is pretty common in diet drinks

    • +5

It's pretty close to be fair - with the (significant) added bonus of not wasting several hundred calories on a bottle full of sugar that's going to wreck your insulin sensitivity.

    • +1

Original is too sweet for me, much prefer the diet version and does have more of a ginger flavor as others have mentioned.

    • Diet has grown on me. Don't like consuming artificial sweeteners but it beats consuming the obscene amount of sugar in the regular, and yes, it has a bit more ginger zing.

  • S+S is $10.80

  • +3

Seeing the volume spelt out in full looks… weird.

    • Especially when I’d prefer it to be millilitres

  • +1

When does the Christmas special 'spiced' edition come out?

    • -1

      Boxing Day

    • For the past two years it has been released in September. I love the stuff and always look out for it. Just wish there was less sugar in it. That's the only thing that stops me from buying more.

    • The "spiced" edition is already out in Woolies link, in the first post to this thread. Bought a case last Friday, pretty good

  • +2

Never seen anyone spell out the whole word Milliliters

    • +4

It should be spelled out as Millilitres

      • +1

        Make that a lowercase m.

        • Agreed.

    • The Yanks and Brits usually spell it out (at least the latter spell it correctly), probably because they aren't used to that new fangled metric system.

  • Diet Lime isn't available any more :( That stuff is the bomb diggity

  • +2

I'm a huge fan of the diet I wouldn't buy the original anymore not worth the huge suger intake when you can get something that tastes as good.
