Yes I own a pair too and had to stop using them when it starting raining vinyl flakes. The other issue I think is that the battery inside is non replaceable AFAIK and when it runs out you can't even use them as a normal headphone. Everything else about the headphones were very good otherwise (Sound, comfort, noise cancelling etc)
The battery is replaceable just pull the cap off the side that has the charge port on it.

I've had these about 18 months very Good sound the only problem is the black on the ear pads flakes off its like vinyl flakes I've looked for spares but can't seem to find parts otherwise very happy with them.
