I'll take that as a comment

  • does this have useable DRAM eg what is the limit? 60gb? 500gb?

    wanting to buy one!

    • It has an SLC cache of 150gb In front of the tlc flash. If your working set for writes is within this size it should perform really well. (1gb ddr3 dram too according to google).

      https://www.techpowerup.com/review/kingston-a2000-1-tb-m-2-n…

You can see the sequential write performance drop off after 150gb written and its starts falling back to tlc performance.

I have this drive as my OS drive, can’t complain about performance.

      • you're a legend mate!

P.s i have a crucial BX500 right now as OS drive.. and it feels slow? takes a while to "warm up" when opening things etc?

  • Had one for my dell laptop from last deal. Use aomei to move the system without any problem. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/570162
