220

This is a great price for a great game.
Note that this game is also part of the Build Your Own Holiday Bundle in case you want more than one game.

From the website:

The President of the United States of America has been assassinated and you're the world's prime suspect. The FBI, the CIA, and a gang of murderous killers are trying to hunt you down. Stricken with amnesia you remember nothing, not even who you are. You're on your own and there is no one you can trust. All you have is a safe deposit key, a mysterious tattoo, and a gun. Clear your name, solve the mystery, and catch the true assassin before he strikes again.

  • Exciting espionage story and fast paced action

  • Top-notch voice acting preformed by actors such as David Duchovny and Adam West

  • Cel-shaded graphics and comic book like narration brings the experience of the acclaimed comic book to life on your computer"

Enjoy!

I remember this being quite good on PS2 when it originally came out. There was recently a "remake" but I've heard it's not very good. This is likely the best version to pick up.

You are right. This is considered to be better than the remake and it is much cheaper too.

Also the classic was made by Ubisoft but it got passed to PlayMagic. And apparently last month, the developers made a public apology to the XIII fans and vowed to fix the game. (Source here: https://www.microids.com/official-statement-by-microids-play…)

    • I played the this version 3 or 4 months ago. I played the original on the PS2 when it came out. XIII is one of the best games ever made, I'm not kidding. The AI and the stealth mechanics are awesome. The story is stellar and the guns and graphics are amazing! The comic book vibes makes the game timeless and there's so much strategy. You have to do certain things to unlock skills, make sure to google that so you can unlock them early on in the game.

      Also,

      Wooo

  • I don't remember exactly what happened to be honest, but didn't this have a great ending?

if you actually think you'll get around to playing it I would recommend for sure.

Far out, I remember this gem. Every PS2 owner worth their salt had a copy lying around, instantly recognisable amongst a shelf of other titles.

I seem to remember trying to get this running in Win10 several years back and having no luck sadly.

  • Its times like this when the 2003 original is highly regarded as the better version of this game over the not so good 2020 remake.

    1) Played this game back in the game but could never finish it because the game crashed at one of the final stages and a reinstall didn't fix the issue.
10+ years later happy to give it another crack.

    2) Went to Fanatical to spend 1.49, ended up spending $25. OzMoreThanIBargainedFor
