Due to popular demand, we've decided to do another batch of our special limited edition Moments to Memories blend, which we recently created to celebrate earning Afterpay approval (it's harder than you'd think) :)

The flavour inspiration around this blend is going to the Cinema with close friends, a luxury we haven't had much access to this year, but hopefully we can start seeing a bit of light at the end of the tunnel now.

All orders will be dispatched on a rolling basis as per normal, ASAP and future dispatch order notes welcomed. Complimentary, optional gift message (you can also just say "Secret Santa") on bag/s also welcomed, simply type your desired message in the "special instructions for seller" box in the online cart.

  • Hey OP, I received the moments and memories beans the other day and I’m loving it. I remember reading this was a limited edition blend but am I able to place a future order for this?
    I was also wondering why the recommended brewing ratio for espresso on the pack says 1:2 and for milk based drinks is 1:1?

      Yes, it is a limited edition blend, we simply brought it back this week due to the amount of positive feedback from awesome customer's such as yourself. If you're happy to place a future order with the understanding that although similar the blend may be a bit different, then we are more than happy to receive your future order.

      Great questions! The brew ratios are specific to each blend, intended as a guide to help you extract an optimal flavour experience. With our Moments to Memories blend we found a 1:2 ratio has the best balance of flavours for black coffee's (espresso, long black). The stronger 1:1 ratio we found helps the flavour cut through the milk a bit better than a 1:2 ratio. A 1:2 ratio also works nicely with milk. I would say that a 1:1 ratio would throw off that balance/enjoyment of the coffee as a straight espresso. All this said they are just guides, not rules, the most important thing is the person drinking the coffee enjoys making it and drinking it!

      • Thank you for the explanation! I've just been doing a 1:2 ratio with milk-based beverages so far as that's what I've seen most recipes use online. I'll put in a future order for the next month :) I'm sure the similar blend will still be as delicious.

        • That makes sense, yes 1:2 is a good ratio for most specialty grade medium roasted coffees, light roasts and higher acidity levels usually yield better results with slightly larger ratios. We usually play within the 1:2 and 1:2.5 ratio levels based on our roast profiles and components.

The large amount of positive feedback about our Moments to Memories blend we received from terrific customer's such as yourself will form the basis of a discussion between the team, which may result in this blend coming back on a longer-term basis in 2021 or may help shape other blends & Single Origins we offer in the future.

  • Ordered one, any recommendation on filter ratio?

      Our recommended filter ratio for Moments to Memories is 1 : 16.67 in other words 6g Coffee : 100g Water. There numerous different filter brewing methods, so if you'd like a more specific guide please send us an email to let us know which filter brew method is your go to system :)

      p.s. for future reference we always put our brew ratio recommendations on our bags

  • There are a lot of people on here that seem quite happy with your coffee! I want to order 3kg filter grind, but can you package into smaller (500g) bags so it stays fresher for longer?

  • Can you order 2kg and get one delivered this month and one next month as a request?

      Thank you for reaching out!

      We've made that request happen before and we will happyily make it happen again for you. As your request will require two lots of shipping you will simply need to pay a second flat rate shipping fee for the second shipment. We love to not have to charge the second shipment fee, but then we would actually loose money on that second kg and if we kept that system up we'd go out of business and not be able to supply you with any more fresh delicious coffee :)
