    yo @gotyourback, I have a question

    I went through and added a bunch of things into the cart. When it came time to checkout the order was split into 2 transactions by ebay, paid back to back.

    This is the first time I've ever seen it happen. Does shopback track both of those transactions or did I miss out on the second one due to the way tracking works?

        bought 3 items, all AUD but sold by different sellers.

    Ebay is trying to split my payments from different sellers to 2 separate purchases from the cart, does this affect cashback?

      Weird thing, happened to me as well, I left out the lower value item.

      When I returned to purchase that again, PayPal went into an authorisation screen and just kept looping there.

    Ugh, pressed the order button at 9.58pm - order went through, then on the ebay screen it said 'payment pending'.

    Only at 10.04 did it say confirmed.

    I hope I didn't get rolled.

      Same. Clicked from Shopback at 9.57pm and confirmed order on eBay at 9.58pm. Order status was "processing payment" until 10.02pm. Now not sure if I will get the 15% cash back.

      Your situation sounds similar to what happened to one of my eBay orders from earlier this month where a payment processing delay pushed the transaction time over to the next day. Payment was via an eBay gift card (which was already linked to my account). The cashback tracking timestamp matched up with when eBay got around to processing my payment and not when I placed the order.

      A bonus cashback would have applied if eBay did not delay, but needless to say I missed out :-(. But that's what I get for leaving checkout to the last 5 minutes.

    Hi Rep, I jumped to ebay through shopback before 10pm(e.g. clicked at 9:50 pm), but made the purchase at 10:03 pm due to network delay. Will I be eligible for cash back in this case?

      Unfortunately you wouldn't be eligible for the 15% as the order was placed outside the promo period. This order will be eligible Up to 2%, depending on the categories purchased.

      You didn't forget about the $30 cap for the 15% cash back via ShopBack did you…?
      It should be around 1400 x 0.8 - 30 - 150 = $940
      Maybe $10~$20 more discounted if you used the "Earn more" tab in the ShopBack app.

      You need to cancel ASAP if you were expecting it to be around $760. -Sorry if I misinterpreted something.

    @Gotyourback, I think I might have a problem.

    I made a purchase yesterday for $220 - A kitchen aid food processor and an oil Jar from Peter's of Kensington. I used PRESS20.
    I also used a $100 give card I bought from Shopback. Paid the rest by credit card.

    The purchase was at 8:05pm and I got the ebay email confirmation at 8:12pm.

    This morning, I received an email from Shopback tracking my eBay purchase and the cashback was only $0.14! Can you please check what happened there please.

    Anyone experienced the same?

    @gotyourback I made a purchase at 8:02pm last night, got all emails as expected but not an email to say my purchase has been tracked, should i be concerned that it has not been tracked or should be just wit for it. In my account, my visit to eBay has been recorded, so SB has definetly recorded a part of my activity !

    Does buying from same eBay account but different Shopback actually affects tracking? I made two transactions of same item around $140 AUD about 45 minutes apart, using two different Shopback accounts, but same eBay account.. I got the 15% tracked to just the one Shopback account, and shows both tracked under the one Shopback account, $19+ each… total $38… wonder if both will get paid or 1 rejected..

      I ordered at 9:58pm and it tracked as 0.6%.
      Haven't received any confirmation of $5 bonus cashback either.
      Btw, Shopback still showed 15% offer even at 10:04 pm (after refereshing the browser) and only later it went down to 2%.
      Technically, even if you made a purchase at 10:00 pm they should honor 15% as they advertised that this offer is Running from 8-10pm (and not 9:59).

    15% was calculated on total including GST. Didnt seem to be a $30 cap though. Wish i had made my other orders during the 8-10pm window now. Maybe they will amend it later.

    I think that paying via multiple eBay gift cards will track at $0. I have like 5 transactions paying via eBay gift cards purchased from ShopBack are not tracked properly :( while the other transactions that I just pay via PayPal tracked correctly. ShopBack definitely need to look into this.

    Still no tracking, looks like I may have to report missing cashback after 7 December. The challenge itself is no longer “finalising results” and has disappeared from the app..? Not sure if that means it’s gone for good.
