Can I stack this with the previous eBay challenge?

    • +1

Would like to know as well

    • Same question here,

    • Same question! !!

    • The older ones stacked so this should too

      • Yes, it did for me. Yet it would be nice to have confirmation, otherwise I have to make two transactions.

      • The Black Friday one stated this: "This challenge can be used in conjuction with any other active challenges."

The Cyber Monday one does not state this.

        • Good point, I suppose we can wait for an official response

  • Perfect!

this is crap. I have purchases in Sept, and still yet credit bonus into my account.

    • is it that one that's due today. theres so many that you forget to check

      • I noticed an update in my activity '30sep20 eBay bonus' appear 3 days ago. Status pending…

        • it's the one on the 13/10. $5 bonus between $10-29.99 spend or $10 back for $30 or more. The bonus for that's supposed to come in today

      • I got many cashbacks paid today.

        • which one? the $5 or $10 bonus?

          • @ironworthy: I got a $2 on 16th Sep, $5 on 30th sept, $10 from 13th Oct, all added recendly. Am I missing any?

            • @ATangk: the one on 13/10 thats due today was the one i was refering to. Looks like i gotta chase them up

Assuming if you buy a category in Amazon that has 0% cash back you won't be eligible for this bonus?

    • Keen to hear

    • +4

This has always been standard, 0% categories are ineligible

    • i would like to know too. looking to buy a surface cleaner which is under garden category.

    • How to identify category of certain product on Amazon?

      • +2

Scroll down to description on amazon, it'll say what category it is in the best sellers rank.

    • I think 0% cashback products/categories are ineligible. (I was thinking of using it with Zelda Switch Flash Sale… but no)
"Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, purchasing excluded products/categories)."

  • Stack with $10 groupon challenge ?

    • yes

      • Cheers

        • Can you stock with Groupon code?

  • dealbot for PM

  • I just spent $5 to get the ebay challenge completed…
Off to find something else to buy for $5

    • Did your status change for both the challenges to completed or just one ?

      • Hasn't tracked so neither lol

  • +1

Lol…didn't read through 'the app' part and just made my purchase. FML.

    • Cancel via livechat. Start again.

Edit: Nvm… I was thinking it was Amazon for some reason.

    • +2

You might be able to activate on the app and purchase though the desktop site? Nothing in the terms I can see needs the purchase to be via the app. Only the activation on the app, I presume.

  • I'm new to the shopback app. Do you need to make purchases through the app to complete this challenge?

    • +3

No, just activate it on the app

  • Not directly related to this deal, but does anyone know when the 10% cashback for using Zip is credited to our accounts and whether we still get the cashback if we pay the full amount prior to any of Zips scheduled repayments?

    • Seems to turn up within a day or two of amazon charging you. It says 5 business days but most including me are getting it quicker.

      Goes straight to zip account

      • Ahh, didn't realise it went straight to the Zip account. Thanks!

  • +2

can I stack with ebay voucher?

    • Would like to know as well!

    • +1

yea same Q. Reading ebay store condition on SB says:
Ensure that you do not use any Coupon Code (unless otherwise stated) as it will result in $0.00 Cashback

I have a voucher for $20 to use but if not eligible I can save that and purchase a $10 cable or something instead

      • not sure if covers unique vouchers but going by previous ebay/SB deals the cashback will probbalt be invalidated.

  • +1

Just bought a screen protector for 5 dollars on eBay, will I get 5 dollars cash back ?

    • Did you activate the challenge?

      • I did, but dunno if screen protector is eligible or not. I think I miss a few of these cashback in the past so not very confident in getting it

        • I bought a phone cover for the Friday one and it tracked so should be fine, don't think ebay has any exclusions. But I did miss out on one as it was a 0% category on Amazon and I thought there were no exclusions.

  • Thanks
Couple of cheap book for the kid from amazon ticks the box :)

  • I have to admit I'm shocked people are still using Shopback after their dismal response and support after their data breach (and even the fact that it happened & how they handled it).

    • +4

and yet plenty still buying PS5s, using LinkedIn etc etc

      • Hi, just want to know how to activate the reward, I got error 404

    • +1

Same, and I get downvoted everytime I mention it. I guess people have no concern about giving away person information or exposing their passwords, as long as they get a few dollars back. Give the punters what they want, and let them suffer for it later.

      • +1

I completely agree with you mate, you get a +1 from me.

      • exposing their passwords,

Shouldn't matter..if the company announced they got breached and tells(or enforces) a password reset…

Unless you're silly enough to be using the same password on multiple sites?

It's best to assume that your passwords are, at best, weak secrets..you should be minimising the effect it has on you should a password become leaked.

        • How do you keep track of your passwords? I'm one of those who doesn't have my phone with me all the time and go on different computers at times to do my stuff.

          • @MeesusEff: Last pass. Problem solve

Oh, just read properly. How are you surviving without a one these days?

          • @MeesusEff: I use LastPass, but any password manager would do
Even chrome's password manager is better than 'remembering' passwords (though if you use something like the 3 random word option, you can get a pretty secure password with some randomness per site from memory)

    • because people here are bargain hunter even for $5 they will sell their heart out

  • Don't see "earn more" category (nvm found it) It pops up at a certain point from the bottom

  • Great thanks!

  • I'm assuming using the "CYBER" code on Chemist Warehouse will invalidate the cashback transaction?

    • Same question

      • I assume so, since it's not a coupon from the shop back app. But that also mean no free shipping if you order less than $50, defeat the deal

  • Can we pay for Amazon purchase with Amazon gift card in the account?

    • +1

      Usually invalidates

      • Thanks. Will avoid

      • Does it? Mine usually tracks, as long as it's a purchased gift card and not a discount or promo code. As far as I am aware, the clause in the T&Cs is usually about not purchasing gift cards, rather than about using them.

        • Hmm, I thought I read that and like to play it safe with cashback. Interesting to see if they pay out those that tracked for you.

  • Can we use this $5 bonus towards an eligible category on Amazon Australia's Subscribe and Save?

    • +2

Dont think so. I would say avoid.

  • CyberGhost 100% Cashback plus this $5 Bonus. Thnx OP.

  • +1

I've gone for a shopback transaction on mobile and my screen locked/went to sleep in the middle of the process. will this shopback still track? thanks in advance

    • +2

Likely will be safe; Shopback (and Cashrewards) work by tracking your cookies so unless you leave it for a day or more it's likely fine.

      • Legend - thanks mate

  • Error 404 for me (via app)

  • Saved the challenge, clicked "shop now" and getting Error 404 (using the app)

  • Include buy gift card?

    • Purchases from ShopBack's Gift Card Store (ShopBack Voucher) are excluded from this challenge.

      • I mean buy gift card from ebay?

  • +2
  • $5 Bonus (Min Spend $5) to Use at Any Store @ ShopBack via App

I plan to buy from a seller that only has 3 feedback ratings; will this seller considered a store by ShopBack definition?

    • +1

feedback ratings doesn't matter. If it is on ebay, it is eligible. Go ahead mate.

  • Hey guys, I just made a purchase on Ebay after clicking start on the challenges. How to confirm if I made the cut for the bonus? The ebay transaction hasn't tracked till now and the bonus page also says shop now and nothing else.

    • Just give it time.

  • +1

Will you still be eligible if you pay through gift vouchers?

  • Already received tracking and a challenge complete notification.

  • How do you activate it on the app as can't see it anywhere?

  • +2

If I completed this before they hit 9000 participants but it doesn't track until it goes over, what happens?
Watching the numbers go up and no tracking yet

  • +1

I spent $50, but it says I have $4.54 to go!
