I asked if they could make another deal for the black dial (SPB101J) but ended up both black and green dial (SPB103J) are discounted from $899 ($1,300 RRP) to $749. Only 20 units for the black dial and 11 units for the green available.

    Have you looked at the skx013, Seiko 5's or…ladies range? It's hard for Seiko to break with tradition. Also, have you looked at the new 62mas and Willard Turtle? They are a bit smaller.

      If you don’t need the diver’s bezel, the new DressKX models (SRPE61 etc.) are excellent options too and much cheaper.

  These look waayyy better in real life than in photos and have a lot of presence. You just have to have the wrist real estate.

    I totally agree.
    I was tossing up between this and a SPB077 and I was actually quite impressed with the sumo but ended up going with the SPB077 as I love the bezel of the 77

      Looks like I just keep missing out on this. When I checked, it wasn’t in stock and then checked again later after your comment and it was gone again. I have a few nice watches but I like this green one. Looks like that I may have to wait a little bit longer and see if it comes back in stock at this price or best, just start appreciating what I already have and not buy another watch!

          @antiqueantiqua: Thank you!! It was originally priced at $899 this morning and I had a chat with the rep and requested if they could bring the price down, which they agreed to and I placed the order there and then!! Can’t wait for it to be delivered.
