I've read ebay has parts but not bose brand though.
I took mine apart briefly when looking to see if the battery was replacable and it didnt seem like it wanted to come out. Guess they're throwaways once the battery is finished.

How do they compare to v1 in terms of volume?
I saw some complaints the max volume is lower.
I have v1 and quite often I want to disable NC. v2 got a button for it which is way way easier compared to v1 (via app only).
So I was thinking about getting v2. But saw some complaints about max volume in v2.

I have both because XM3 was on sale for like $200 for refurb.
na, they are very similar.
XM3 has better noise cancellation, Bose QC35II is more comfortable especially for long term use.
Both sound great, XM3 is probably a more bass-y
Honestly. I don't think we do. Especially with the xm4 out and these are fairly older now.
In terms of sound quality, features, comfort etc.. it is still on the same level as the XM3, XM4 and Bose 700s.
There isn't much difference between all these pair of headphones atm imo

Loved mine. Took about a year and a half for the battery to not last anywhere near as long and the earpads to break down.
I never travelled with them and pretty much babied them. Still failed.
Loved them while they were good, but just so you know.

I've had mine for like a good 3-4 years now with no issues, still in tact and only had one issue with built in bluetooth within my laptop
I bought a family member the same headphones very recently, brand new and they had the same issue with the built in bluetooth in her laptop. (Sound starts to crack up and cut out every so often)
However, I got a bluetooth adapter and it worked fine using that.
Thats another warning to people
@BarginGrabber: I had the BlueTooth adapter issues too. Though my motherboard was always a bit iffy with its built in Bluetooth. An $8 USB Bluetooth adapter solved it.
