Of course I should have bought these direct from Sennheiser last week when they were $149 delivered, or last November when they were $119, but I need these for a present next month, and didn't want to chance missing the local minimum pricing.

I own a pair myself, and the battery life is amazing. It was a couple of years into owning before I first heard the audio warning "10 hours of battery remaining". Connection to my phone is always quick and reliable.

      Even if true, Bose = American and Sennheiser = German.

      Where have you seen the Bose QC SE on sale at anywhere near this price in the last eleven months?

      As far as I can see, last May they were posted here at $164 at Harvey Norman.
      A few weeks earlier they were posted as a bargain at $238, although they had been $206 with Student Beans in Black Friday (2023) and January 2024 sales.

      Bose site says they were sold in 2023 and 2024.

            @sam buster: it's the same QuietComfort 45 SE is the QuietComfort SE. I got one and it showed QC 45 in the app.

              @Mohamed S: Fair enough, I apologise if I was mistaken about the QC 45 SE and the QC SE being different. More confusing naming by Bose - I based my info on their website which suggested the QuietComfort SE came with a different case and cables to the standard QuietComfort. However a Reddit user claimed to have a text from Bose that said something like the main difference between the QC 45 and the QC SE was the case.

              Nevertheless, my question was genuine - where can I buy QC 45 SE or QC SE for this price?

      If you're thinking something along the classic Airpods design at a decent price with ANC, you do have the option of the Galaxy Buds 3 at about $120-$140, they just don't pair quite as nicely with an iPhone.

      Outside of that, you've got a few options but maybe wait for a Sennheiser Accentum Plus sale, or a few more 2025 releases to shake up the $100-$180 price range.

      If something like the Sennheiser Momentum 4 drops below $200, don't even hesitate.
