  • Can you control each plug individually?

    • Yes but the usb outlets are controlled as a single relay which means they all go off or on together. The 4 other outlets are all individually controlled

    • +1

*{ Remotely wireless control}:Use the full control mode or control 4 sockets individually with your smart phone no matter where you are,but note that the 4 USB charging ports can only be controlled together

Yes, but need your phone, no physical switches.

      • Or voice via smart home items. Each port can be named (noting the grouping of usb).

      • Well you can use the physical button but it'll turn everything on/off as a group. You can however flash it with ESPurna instead and do some fancy coding which will allow you to set the button to control whatever outlet with whatever button combo/sequence you want. You could even theoretically control all 5 outlets using the one button and a complicated list of pushes.

        • ESPurna has been a little unmainted for a while, tasmota or esphome is much easier to use, control and program.

          • @Hotross: I knew it sounded wrong, yeah ESPHome I meant.

        • Can you flash it without opening it?

The default SW on one of the strips I have, is messed up (wrong states showing in google home - support has been useless).

            • @Tacooo: So the answer is indeed maybe, definitely not just "yes":

Do you want to try flashing another device? [y/N]

          • +1

@johnmelb: the awnser is a resounding Maybe

the firmware on these devices is usually from a brand called "tuya" and there is a software called tuya convert which can be used to load new firmware but the caveat is that this only works on the older version of the tuya firmware, The newer stuff is only flashable by soldering. its not hard but i know lots of people arent keen of soldering.
