The inner pot that comes with this is aluminium (not the issue) but is coated with a Teflon material which can scratched easily, if care not taken. But looking at the link, you can buy a "anti-scratch stainless steel pot" from Phillips for $45.

Try looking at Instant Pot. They come with stainless steel pot.

    Happy owner here.
Best deal I've ever seen was at Costco, which was a combo of cooker unit+ one extra stainless steel pot and cost $189.95.
This price is by far the best for the single unit, and even with an extra stainless steel pot it works out cheaper than the Costco deal ($142.90+$45=$187.90), plus today there is an offer of 10% cashback paying via Zip-pay which will bring the combo price down to $169.11. I'd say it's the best price ever and you won't regret it.
I have used mine for 8months for 3-4 times a week basically for quick pasta, fry rice and roast meat, and o haven't scratched my original pot that comes with the unit.

  • From front panel this can bake but Instant pot, I don't think can bake. Can someone confirm please.

    • this one can bake thats right
