Bought direct from the Opolar itself. It was dead on arrival. Pathetic customer service. Tried to call, email but never received a reply from them. I would not recommend this to anyone.

    • Thanks for the heads up. Will wait for the Binford 5000

        It's tool time

This is via Amazon, much better service at least, got my one and works a treat :)

    • Likewise. I also ordered from them directly. Courier couldn't find my address (how silly). Contacted courier a few times, no reply. Contacted Opolar directly, no reply. Submitted Paypal case, went to a claim and got a refund as they didn't bother engaging in the PayPal dispute at all.

Would avoid buying from them direct, but if you do, use Paypal.

    • And Opalar purchased directly from Aliexpress! They are just another dropshipping company.

      • you can do a dropshipping and get Aliexpress company to slap your logo on it? But yea definitely AliExpress copy, whoever selling is making a motza

    • Mine worked but it was so poorly designed that the first time I twisted the base to change "modes", something inside the device caught on one of the exhaust fins and snapped it off. It was literally 2 minutes out of the box. Pricks never responded to me and I've currently got a credit card dispute going for it.

I used a Costco tyre inflator for the same function last week.

  • Thanks OP hopefully this is good

I just use a small workshop blower, does the same thing but more power.

Bought the more expensive/powerful version of this from Opolar - it really blows! Highly recommended.

Get one of these, you can buy third party reducer nozzles for tight areas, much more powerful and versatile. Especially if you already using Makita power tools, just buy the skin.

  • Had a look at some videos, it doesn't look very powerful at all if you if have to get the nozzel close to blow the dust off

    • It's not. Even at max power with the new "upgraded 60K RPM" version it's trash.

Cheap compressor from bunnings a lot better than this, or even a $50 garden blower.

  • +2

Yeah don't bother with these. Even the more expensive models are just absolutely piss weak. A strong set of lungs is more powerful

  • Why no -ve with so many -ve comments

Seems like the same thing (except blue) - https://www.amazon.com.au/OPOLAR-Compressed-Rechargeable-Eff…

  • In the manual it says you can extend the warranty to 18 months if you register the device online too. You need to enter your order number if you bought direct from them to get the extension.
