        • You should get it 2 business days after the 12th then :)

          • +2

@SlifSlif: I got it just now.

            • @[Deactivated]: Me too! :D

Kinda shocked, I was vacuuming and they just left it at the front door. :/

              • @SlifSlif: Better than only leaving a ‘missed you’ card :)

              • @SlifSlif: Sweet. Enjoy your new monitor! I am yet to open. Guess have to wait till the weekend.

                • @[Deactivated]: It’s amazing haha. I’ve been on a 24” 1080p forever (at least 12+ years) and this is a game changer!

                  • @SlifSlif: I know the feeling. I was on 22" 1050p for over 8 years and CRT before that ;) But I have used 2K monitors at office, so I believe I wouldnt be that amazed. I hope my GTX 1080 holds up till the mining craze is over.

  • +7

Mine is still the same Estimated Ship Date Jan 25, 2021 expect 29 Jan :(

    • That has been a place holder since the beginning.

  • 7 days countdown to delivery, can't wait!

  • My S2721DGF just arrived. Estimated ship date Jan 25th, arrived in Brisbane on the 7th.

    • Did you get a tracking number from StarTrack prior?

      • Nope. I had no shipping info or notifications from Ebay or the Dell Order Support site. Wasn't until I put my order number into this site that I found out it was coming today: https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery

        • +3

I’m still Jan 25th and that link says out of stock. Ah well.

        • Lucky you check!

        • +1

Thank you for your inquiry, Your Dell Order No ##(##), having temporary out of stock of your item at our local warehouse. Call customer support on 1 800 812 393, If you would like our friendly agents to help you resolve an issue with your order.

          • +1

@galileo: Mine said the exact same for a while until yesterday when it popped up with a link to StarTrack.

  • My monitor arrived last night. Didn't get much (any?) warning from ebay/dell. Think I checked dell tracking either yesterday morning or the day before and it said shipping: 1/2 and delivery: 6/2. Was pretty impressed when Startrack showed up in the afternoon.

    • Did the tracking update after you received it? Been out all day and wondering if it came

      • +1

I checked the dell tracker and it says it was Shipped + Delivered. Under Shipped I've also got a link to the startrack tracker. I would imagine that if they'd attempted to deliver you'd at least have that.

  • Still waiting on the DGF delivery in Adelaide. My estimated shipping date was 25/1, yet looks like some have received it already with a shipping ETA in Feb. Hopefully it comes today before the weekend.

    • +1

I got an invoice from dell before the monitor was delivered.

      • +2

Well, still waiting. I've got a feeling it's not going to make the ETA.

  • +10

Looking more likely that I won’t receive my dgf before the eta 14th of Jan 😞

    • +2

same here. no change in order status, still showing arrival date as 29th of Jan. I won't even be home after this week so still hoping for a miracle

  • +21

Its become apart of my daily routine to check the order status on Dell, then come here hoping for some information that I don't already know; it's sad, really…

    • +1

I've been doing the same thing

    • +1

Sameee. Wanted to enjoy the monitor during the end of year shutdown through gaming. What a waste :(

    • waited a long time for a cheap 3080 so happy to wait for this, but hopefully comes in a week

  • +6

Still got 3 days until the deadline. Not looking good so far

    • +3

Careful, the fanbois will jump down your throat for daring to think that you may not get it before the ETA.

I contacted DELL and not only has my ETA been pushed into Feb (like, seriously, what the f***) but to begin with the CS assistant on the other end was replying to me with details from someone elses order for an Inspiron 15, under a completely different order number to what i contacted them with.

  • +11

3 days before the final ETA date, product still in production and unavailable. Not looking promising.

  • +14

Sent an email to Dell and got informed that my order is under part shortage hold. I thought that there was stock held specifically for this deal…

They informed me that my order would get fulfilled on 3rd Feb 2021 and expected to be delivered on or before 7th Feb 2021. The original ETA of the order 29th Jan 2021 was a tentative date.

This is actually frustrating when my new pc has been built for nearly two months now and I can't even experience it properly because of these delays

    • +17

I'd love to hear from LiMaaa to see if there is any accuracy in this.. It seems as if Dell Support are treating all of these orders as new from the dell site and not 'pre-secured- stock', hence every update people get is 'no-stock' or 'extended delays'.

I was more than happy to wait until the 14th, and I know Dell shipping can be incredibly fast (once dispatched), but it's looking very unlikely that the date LiMaa gave will be met for most people.

      • +12

Agreed, was to my knowledge that these units were "secure" for LiMaaa's unqiue deal on ozbargain, though I might be wrong. Compensation mouse aint gonna cut it, might pull the plug and get a refund and avoid Dell from now on. The confirmation email even stated "Monitors and Accessories are coming from Sydney warehouses are usually delivered within 5-10 working days. Already complained that even when i myself a customer who is also local in sydney already waited this long.

Referred deal to a friend who wanted to upgraded 1080p 60hz to 1440p 144Hz+ gaming for their first time. Several gaming titles/expansions released last month. Coulda gamed together with the intention of using the awesome monitor. Oh well I regret referring them to the deal in a way.

  • +1

Ordered Black Friday DGF, they replied to my eBay message late December 2020 saying to expect it to be shipped on the first or second week of Jan. Contacted Dell through the order support site today and got an email saying "Order has being under stock constrain situation and ETA for fulfilment is on or before 29th January". No idea what that means.

    • +1

I've also been told my DGF would be delivered on the 1st or 2nd week of Jan and now they said they remain hopeful to get them this week.

  • +4

14th Jan delivery starting to look bleak, emailed Dell and got the response that they were expecting a large shipment to their warehouse on the 11th. Since my previous email they have not responded since.

Gotta say I'm a little salty as my order processed 20 seconds after 7pm, would hate to know people who were afterwards are the ones receiving their monitors already. Two weeks of Christmas break left, come through for us LiMaaa!

    • +1

Not to mention the fact that people with a Dell site ETA of February have already got theirs, while my 25th of Jan ETA is still waiting. Got me pretty salty. This is assuming that the Dell ETA is based on time of order, which would suggest that I was before them in the queue.

      • +1

I think the Dell ETA is a load of crap, I encourage people to completely disregard it.

My 27" 4K monitor from Dell had an ETA of Dec 28 and I received it first week of December.

    • +1

I got 12 jan delivery estimate and still sitting at in production, so oh well, I already waited for so long, another week or 2 wont hurt

    • +1

Honestly feel bad for LiMaaa with everybody here complaining non stop about not having a monitor that has a 14th of Jan eta. All the delivery dates were provided to you before purchase via the original deal post.

Glad to see that you now have similar concerns as the others

      • Different concerns, not getting the monitor on time (14th of Jan)

Most people i replied to were angry about waiting the initial month.

  • +1

2 more days, hoping for a miracle.

  • Given the variation in responses regarding DGF orders, I would take the below comments from a Dell Customer Care team member with a grain of salt.

" As per current status the new fulfillment dates is mentioned below.
    12/27 - 214
    12/29 - 240
    1/11 - 602
    1/14 - 616
    1/19 - 832
    "

Evidently, this is the entire stock fulfillment rather than just the 1000 units allocated for this deal. Anyway, I hope you all (including myself) get yours soon.

  • just got a response from dell via ebay saying they have no stock and hope to get some in the next 2 weeks. Looking like a feb delivery at best.
This is after a few message through december with them saying i'd receive it first or second week of Jan

    • copy and paste the reply from Dell. What a good CS. I am speechless

You have 2 option available mentioned below .
1 - Either wait for the delivery .
      2 - Approve for the cancellation .

  • +4

I've had my order pending since September (OzBaragin deal, around $507). LiMaaa will know who I am. Months and months of no news, only to find out that my payment had failed while everyone else got their monitors (found this out on November). I only found out via contact. There was no way of knowing as my order only said 'Pending'. To make it up, Dell would make a custom listing via eBay, made specifically for me, that would had been put up before Black Friday to ensure I would get the monitor with confirmed payment. I was PROMISED that I would get my monitor earlier than everyone else. And you guys can guess what happened. And considering the unlikeliness of Dell actually delivering monitors on the ETA, I probably won't be getting my monitor any time sooner.

The Dell team seriously needs to get a grip. I shouldn't have to be treated like this. The monitor should have been here, in my house, back in September 2020.

    • Didn't you check your bank transactions to see if payment went through?

      • I paid via Paypal. After I had purchased via Paypal directly on the Dell site, my Paypal told me the payment to Dell (recipient) was 'Pending'. No bank transactions ever occurred because Dell never ever accepted the payment.

  • +8

    Any update LiMaaa?

  • +3

I would like to hear from the people who did get their monitors. what was their shipping date set to and when did they actually get it? Mine was supposed to be shipped 12/01 and arrive by 16/01. so far still showing as in PRODUCTION

    • +4

My situation is exactly the same as yours with the same dates and not shipped yet. Is Dell Australia just a glorified drop shipping operation?

    • UPDATE from DELL 13/1 8pm

      Thanks for your email.

The estimates available on the dell site are estimates only and subject to change once the item is for dispatch. As per the latest update we've received from our Head office, the unit is to be fulfilled by next week until the end of the month. We are continuously checking on the order and will update as soon as possible. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

    • eBay estimate - 12/01
      Dell estimate - 30/01

I sent a message via eBay on 5th Jan about the discrepancy and they said they were confident they can deliver within the eBay ETA. The monitor was shipped out on 6th Jan and I received it on the 12th.

      • Out of curiosity what time did you place your order/payment processed?

    • +2

ebay: Estimated delivery Mon, 14 Dec - Wed, 23 Dec
dell: Estimated Shipping: 12 Jan, Estimated Delivery: 17 Jan.
      Still in Production

  • +3

Last day tomorrow. Been pretty silent 'til now. Hopefully it meets the deadline after the 6-week wait.

  • +2

I don't think they'd make it before 14 Jan. They may tell you another week to wait. They may also think that after all, you have already being waiting for it for so long so another week shouldn't be a big deal. ;) Extraordinary customer service.

  • +2

Messaged Dell via eBay and Dell today, only heard back through eBay. (pretty swift response) Est Ship was Jan 12, Est Delivery Jan 13

As per the latest update we've received from our Head office, the unit is to be fulfilled by next week until the end of the month. If you can still wait for the item, we would like to offer a complimentary gaming mouse that you can use with the unit. Hopefully, this will somehow help improve your experience with us. However, if you are no longer willing to wait, we can work on cancelling the order and provide you with a full refund instead. Please let us know.

E-mailed asking what mouse, e-mail confirmed Alienware 310M Wireless Gaming Mouse - AW310M

  • +1

I've messaged Dell via eBay since I was expecting Est Ship on the 13th and Est Delivery on the 15th.

Waiting for their response but here's to me hoping they can switch it out for a wired mouse.

    • +2

Had a look at the other tracking website (portal with captcha) and now shows:

"Your Dell Order No 87———(————-) has an ETA of Between 18/01/2021 And 19/01/2021"

      No response on eBay yet

      • Mine doesn't even give an ETA

      • Same with me.

ETA with captcha now shows: "Your Dell Order No XXX has an ETA of Between 17/01/2021 And 18/01/2021"
Order Details on dell has Shipped - Estimated Ship Date: Jan 27, 2021 | Delivered - Estimated to Arrive By: Jan 29, 2021

  • +11

Well, so much for the 14th being the conservative maximum estimate, and that it would very likely come much earlier and certainly on track to meet the deadline.

  • +13

It's 14 Jan now. Time is up.

    • +10

LiMaaa has ghosted too and gone MIA. Disappointing.

      • Not responding to DM's or just not replying to the thread?

        • He's not been returning my DMs

          • @KevinT85: I messaged him twice. First to update my address, second to check if he received my message. Never responded

    • So… Pitchfork time? (`ー´)ψ

  • "When will item(s) be shipped?
S2721DGF ETA: between 18 December - 14 Jan (or sooner)."

This is a little confusing. "When will item be shipped" followed by an ETA (Estimated time of arrival). Shipping date vs arrival dates are obviously going to be different.

Did a quick search of my order number and it's saying "ETA 19/01/2021" so guess I'll continue to wait and hope…

    • Yeah through this link https://dellpleportal.dbschenker.com.au/ETA/ETAquery?Length=… mine says it has an ETA of Between 18/01/2021 And 19/01/2021.

Hopefully this means they've had a big delivery of stock today and we get a confirmation from the other tracking site soon because on there it still says in production.

My estimated shipping date is yesterday (13th Jan), let me know if you get anything from Dell!

      • Mine is now showing as an ETA of Between 17/01/2021 And 18/01/2021 as well after showing as parts not in stock, etc only this morning.

Here's hoping we get some good news next week!

        • Mine still says "temporary out of stock of your item at our local warehouse" on the portal and still in production on the website.

        • Exactly the same here, where are you based? I'm in Adelaide so perhaps thats why my ETA is a day later than yours.

          • @04jknowles: I'm in Melbourne so could very well be the reason.
The last monitor I ordered from them back in May was processed in 2 days and received the next day after so their shipping should be fast once it does eventually leave Dell

      • Yesterday I sent an eBay message just asking for an update on what is happening.

They apologised for the delay and offered me the gaming mouse

They also sent me a tracking link that shows my screen was shipped today but no arrival date estimated.

  • Was waiting till the 14th before sending through an email and chasing up on any status updates. This is what Dell came back with today:

"However we are experiencing a higher than expected demand and facing fulfillment delays for this Monitor.
Because of this the warehouse in Sydney is under shortage.

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to have your order delivered as soon as possible.
We have close to 600 plus stocks coming in on the 11th, 14th and 800 plus stocks on the 19th January, 2021.
Hence once stocks come in and gets allocated, I will share the details to you.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience caused to you. If you have any questions please visit us at our Order Support Page.''

    • +7

So it seems that they 180'd on the 1000 apparently allocated stock for us. Guaranteed that they fulfilled those website deal orders before us even though we ordered first, just so that they could do some damage control on those reviews. We'd all have them by now if the first 1000 DGF's allocated went to us. Surely it doesn't now take two months to fulfil 1000 DGFs if they are all prioritised from the deal in one block.

    • +2

The way I interpret that email as a normal consumer regarding "higher than expected demand" - "Yes we placed orders far exceeding the amount of stock we have allocated for this deal and have placed an order to make up for it". Considering it seems like only a handful of peeps got theirs haha.

To calm down the eternal rage among us, heres a lil fun meme for ya'll: https://imgflip.com/i/4tr6gb

edit: disregard the US FRS emblem, just googled quick meme templates lol

      • Hahaha. You made me laugh this arvo. A hard feat… nice one.

      • +1

Should i ignore the Anarcho-capitalism flag bow tie as well? :P

  • +5

Dell ebay reply seems to be a copy/paste reply as it is the same as everyone else is receiving.

LiMaaa disappearing from this deal is more of a concern to me. After all this time waiting I have not received 1 email explaining the delays, they where happy to take the money but no correspondence since is very disappointing.

    • You mean the shipping update that stated that delivery was on schedule doesn't count?

  • +2

I emailed and this was the response

"Dell 27 Gaming Monitor - S2721DGF is in Production and due to shortage there is a delay.

I will follow-up on the order and make sure the delivery takes place at the earliest.

The current expected delivery date is on or before 10-02-2021

Please do not worry, I have expedited the order. I will keep you updated for any changes to the ETA."

All I can do is laugh at this point

    • +6

RIP, Dell's probably still digging up the raw materials

    • +2

Oh even better, they've expedited my delivery from the 10-02-2021 to 20-02-2021. Prime service thanks Dell, I can see that my order is very important to you!

      "We apologize for the delay.
Thank you for your recent order with Dell. We are working to ship your order as quickly as possible. The delivery date for your order to arrive has been updated to feb. 20, 2021.

Your order is very important to us. We apologize for any inconvenience this change in delivery may cause.

For the most up to date information, please use the button below to track your order.

We appreciate your business and patience. Thank you for choosing Dell"

      • They sure do appreciate your patience LOL

  • Quite disappointed that the wait is way too long (DGF), but since they offered a complimentary gaming mouse worth over $100 I don’t mind.

Confirmed to be Alienware 310M Wireless Gaming Mouse - AW310M

    • +6

Where's my crappy mouse I'll never use! All I got was a lame excuse. Boo

Same, lame excuse for me too…..
