What's better than the fastest SSD in the world? Why, the highest capacity fastest SSD in the world. For the pedants, yes the 2TB is slightly slower than the 1TB, so bear that in mind if those performance differences are crucial for you. But if you absolutely gots to have the highest capacity version of the fastest drive in the world right now, accept no substitutes.
"But I won't NOTICE the difference over any other NVMe drive"
That depends on your workload. If you just use your PC or laptop for standard office tasks, no, you won't notice the difference. If you're just using it for games, no, you won't notice the difference between this and a drive half the price. If you're doing disk heavy computational work, running VMs, pretty much any time sensitive random access workflow or working with large files (like video editing and composition), then yes, it will make a noticeable difference to your day, and in many cases will quickly pay for itself.
Hopefully this will come down further tomorrow, but I just happened to find this on Amazon so thought I'd share, as local prices are quite a lot higher.
