Hi Rep, I wanna try to make some cold brew coffee. I have a Breville BES870 coffee machine. Is it better that I grind beans by using this machine, or let you guys do it? I think your grinder is much professional and better than mine, but it also won't stay fresh. Thank you.

Great question and more than happy to help.
You are right about coffee being its most fresh immediately after grinding it.
If your grinder is in good working order (and grinds consistently) you should be fine using that with a coarse setting.
However if you don't want to overload your grinder, we can certainly grind it for cold brew. Let me know your thoughts :)

You want to go quite coarse, anywhere between 8-12 I would say.
An idea might be to try two different batches with a different setting each and record which one you prefer most for future reference :)

There's no specific best before date but you will get great tasting results for up to 6 weeks, so essentially through until early January.

My family use pods or instant coffee.
Unfortunately forgot to rescheulde my coffee machine turning on when I was away. Control unit inside failed in a way that drove the rotary pump constantly without anywhere for the water to go, burnt it out. But at least I didn't come home to a flood.
But I vacuum freeze coffee with decent results anyway.

The Guatemala Chochajau is a certified organic coffee, however the other two are not strictly certified but are sourced from specialty-grade farms in both Colombia and Peru respectively.

Just got the Black Friday spesh and gave it a squeeze through the machine. Absolutely awesome!
I've quite liked the Brazil from ALDI, and this is of the same vein, but much better IMHO. Definitely taste the 'raisins' from the tasting notes. I almost always brew it as a long black.
