Been watching out for a Shun knife block set to go as low as the last sale several months ago, and this finally came down enough for me. It's not at the lowest price ever, with it being lower back in June at $303.86, https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/546126
During my watching I've also noticed these seem to rarely come in stock, which is another reason why I took this opportunity.
Normally I wouldn't have posted as this just comes under the main ebay plus sale, but this item doesn't appear on the main search page for the coupon. I only found it worked by going to the ebay store and manually trying. So it appears the coupon applies to more than just the items you're able to search for on those hub pages.
One question I still have is whether this is the Kanso series or Classic series. It has both words in the title, but the pictures (appearance and model numbers on the blades) are obviously the Classic series. I asked Peters of Kensington on facebook but there was no answer. I will find out Friday/Monday if auspost delivers according to schedule.
edit: Poombear has pointed out that the Kanso word in title would refer to the Kanso wood block, thanks for that.
The Classic series is fairly popular on ozbargain, and there are a few strong advocates here which pushed me to look at them, and online reviews/comparisons also speak to the quality of these knives.
Anyway, contents:
Included in Set
8.5cm Paring Knife.
16.5cm Santoku Knife. (note: the picture on the item page shows this is as DM0718, which is actually 18cm)
20cm Chef's Knife.
Multi-purpose Kitchen Shears.
Hardwood storage block.
And then you can pick up the Shun honing steel, again from Peters of Kensington, for $52.80 after voucher application.
The knives are classic knives, Kanso is the name of the hardwood knife block
